One question. Can hackers GUID ban players?

Ok, I have been having this problem for quite some time now. I have multiple connection errors concerning Arma 2 and OA. First, my ping should be ok, I am playing on close servers and not downloading anything on my internet. But, the ping says 500 or even 900! It happens rarely at the moment, but, with the problems im getting at the moment, it might become more of a serious problem. Second, I found an excessively large desync of 4000+ on one Arrowhead server and it happned again sometime after that. Third, the most annoying is the connection errors that I keep on getting. I join a server (HGs Arma 2 for instance, German and quite close to my country, UK), and I get choppy lag (IE; The game runs very smoothly but the fps lowers a bit for a second, then goes back to normal. It does this every 5 seconds at a steady pace and eventually results in a "You were kicked off game" message that returns me to the MP server list. Fourth, I have another connection error also very annoying that happens on certain servers (like RPmods Chernarus Life). The connection chain appears yellow and then goes in the space of a second. Then, after 5 seconds, it reappears again and stays for 2 seconds. Then, it reappears and goes away just like last time. After about a minute or so the chain turns red and goes away. Then the same thing happens and this time, I get a "You were kicked off game" or a "Connection with the Host has been lost". I refresh the server list and the problem is totally CLIENT. Everyone is playing fine when I rejoin but these problems keep nagging me everytime I play! PS: Another problem with a question: If me and a friend are playing in the same building using the same connection on the same server, does that result in connection errors? Not saying that these errors appear because of that (I get them all the time playing online on my own). I thought I would post all these connection errors together in one post as I think that they might be linked.

I have just paid and downloaded the OA BAF mod from Gamers Gate and I have installed and activated it on my current Online PC. But I want to install it on my Offline PC aswell as that one has all the Mods on it (slx, ace etc). I just want to find out a legal way of installing this on my Offline PC because this is bugging the hell out of me. Any help?

Just wondering if the same BAF folder can be activated online twice at the same time?

Im going to try and negotiate with my ISP now (I was just paying for one PC to be connected but now I will upgrade to multi-but lets not go offtopic). Then I will attempt to activate the files on my Offline PC with a connection window-if thats even possible. Is it possible to activate the same DLC on two PCs at the same time?

I want VOICE ACTING. And lots of it. You know, like the brits but Chinese, French, German, Israeli-that kind of stuff. It really takes the realism out of the game when im being a foriegn force and all I hear are the same old American voices. One of the main reasons I bought the British DLC was because it included British Voice Acting. Need an easy script to add it to a unit in the mission editor aswell. Also, In the next version, is it possible to space words out on AI voices by more miliseconds? Like instead of: EnemyMan100Meters, we could have something like: Enemy,--Man,--1000Meters. A bit like in OPF:DR.

I dont see how they would be able to get the valid files in the first place. I mean, when I said about the activation file (DLL im just guessing) I assumed it would only work for my version of my files (like a unique registration that only the same bought pbo and dll would possess) therefore I couldnt mass produce them and sell them dirty-Which is definetly what I am AGAINST. I dont want do anything Illeagal at all, I just want to move the files onto my offline PC as thats where all my COOP mods are stored. Besides, I have two PCs so I can securly design missions on one without any nasty hackers stealing my files (Offline) and play other missions on the other (Online). Good point though, stk2008. Yes, I have installed the 1.54 patch on my ARMA OA. When I move the mod folder to my ARMA 2 directory, I run the game and the british forces logo appears. But the mods are not appearing at all. The files seem to overwrite the Lite ones and the BAF and Shapur arent ingame. Its like it was 1.52. Also, I tried moving my Online PC's Activated files on to my Offline PC. But still, the same thing happens (Mods not ingame). When I say this I dont mean that the Lite version is unchanged, I mean that these BAF files Overwrite the Lite ones and then I cant use the BAF at all. I dont understand why the activated files dont work on my Offline PC. It works fine on my Online PC. Is there a certain DLL or data file hidden on the PC that gives access?

The mission is probably badly designed, if its a third party one. In ARMA2, you must take cover as well as concealment and the AI is very tough. In your case, it might be a bit too tough from what I can gather. Have you got Super AI enabled in the difficult settings? And also, what difficulty settings are you using? BTW, ARMA2 is a RTS AND a FPS Maybe this game is just too hard for you. The only solution I can think of is to stick with your squad and not wander off. Theres more chance of you staying alive that way.

No, but my ISP will. They get pissed off when users activate connection on more than 1 PC.

Doesnt work, the game can't see the files or even the Lite version unless I remove them again.
