  1. Hello, in my mission, player will create unit on trigger and that unit will board the vehicle, when player is inside.

    This works, but if I'm not in vehicle prior to that, the unit will just stay there. I tried waituntil (player in car) and then _wp lines, but it will give me error...

    What I'm trying to do is spawning random unit on a mark, and it will wait there until I get there in car and they will board it, we will drive somewhere and they will get out... I didn't work in changing the alpha of marker and I don't think _spawnpos setMarkerAlpha alpha will work, but I didn't try yet.


  2. I want to check, if a vehicle enters area (I will drive it and park it there and when the car is inside trigger, it will be true and switch the objective)... I've tried car in thislist, the car is named car, but it won't fire anyway...

    I had idea of something like "player in car AND player in thislist" but I think there must be easier way to check for object inside the trigger, isn't there?


  3. Since Operation Flashpoint, I miss one thing that was kind of supplemented by mods, but at least as a merely tribute to the ancestor, this should be added in a next tiny update.

    Weapon on back :) Or holster a pistol. You know what I mean. We have a button to sit and salute. Seriously. A nice combination of ctrl and salute would do nice. Or am I the first and only one?

  4. Ok, sounds good, I'm glad you didn't stop working on the mod.

     

    I just wondered, if you could rethink CUP and RHS compatibilities. I like to use both, vehicles from CUP, but helicopters from RHS. If I load both, my soldiers have M4s and so on, you know the deal.

    Also, since I'm using full CUP and RHS, are these ACR packs any different? Do I miss something?

    I noticed our Pandurs are just reskined AAF APC, is it final or should I expect it as well as Tatras? 


  5. Hi, I tried to make a map and everything goes alright, until I try to launch Buldozer.

    I Installed it on P from tools and I can launch it, but when I launch it from Builder, it says that .cfgworld is missing, and buldozer crashes.

    What should I do? I'm using Atlas' Tutorial and I'm stuck at this point.

     

    Also, are there any better resources, somewhere? Most of the links are dead anyway and I can't find much.

    Multiple objectives scenario. You will be dropped on the hill and you have to complete (for now just) five missions. There is helicopter infiltration and exfiltration. Many snipers around. Good FPS I guess. UAVs to make your work easier. You can still just crawl through the jungle slowly, but you don't have to. There is also weapon cache and APC for you.

  7. Hi guys, I'm trying to create simple mission and actually really understand mission making and scripting.

    Well, I've made few basic missions and one is kind of "rail shooter", where player would sit in vehicle and control the turret, while others will get out at certain waypoints to fight the enemy. Can I do that somehow without pulling player out of the squad (or ignoring the order)? 

    Or actually, issue an order, that would tell player to get in a vehicle as a driver for example, literally reserving the position for player?

    Story

    Independent global law enforcement faction created to hunt down dangerous criminals, far beyond the capabilities of current state police and agencies. Operating like a private military company (and calling themselves the company), its core are Hunters, elite undercover agents of insane capabilities, mostly former special operators and leaders of smaller task groups, the Security Intervention Forces. They have a big amount of support, ranging from soldiers, armored SUVs, UAVs and mostly the little birds, center of every operation and main tool of transportation and aerial support.

    To aid the Hunters in urban operations, Tactical Response Unit is very similar to SWAT. They have Orca and Hellcat helicopters, Marid APC and Ifrit MRAP, all in black, as a great support base for apprehending large groups of enemies.

    Sometimes, Hunters needs to operate in war torn countries with almost no local support. That is why they bring in the Field Team, the heavy force, with gunships, tanks, APCs, planes and lots of firepower at their disposal. High variety of camos makes them suited for every situation and region out there. They can use UNPAT (UNiversal PATern) if concealment isn't necessary, but in other cases, there is woodland, desert, arctic and urban uniforms with countless more vest and helmet variations. Have you been to muddy regions of Chernarus? Maybe woodland uniform with mud brown vest and helmet help you blend in. Takistani tree lines make it easy to spot your desert uniform? Light green-yellow desert vegetation set can help you out as well. You found yourself on the sea, so no camo is good enough? Field Navy has three more patterns, grey-blue sailor uniform, ground version with some brown and airman version with lighter shades and white color. They have rubber boats, speedboats in day and light camos and divers, because everybody needs them sometimes!

    Notes

    Security Intervention is base addon and you have to download it before anything else. Field Camos are dependent on Field Team addon.

    Installation

    Create modfolder of your choice, "@Hunters" for example, create another folder "Addons" and put all the PBOs inside.

     

    Known Issues

    There are textures that are not finished, namely the quadbike, digi camoed SUV, Field Team Hellcat, A-164 and some uniforms.

    Paratroopers were meant to have script to put backpack in front, but I've never finished it. So they have no parachute.

    I planned to overhaul my addon, but I've decided to release it finally, because it almost died on my hdd. I couldn't find enough time for photoshop and notepad. There are many small issues actually, but let's say nothing serious.

  9. Not anymore guys, I give up.

    I have my plans, but then something screws up and my addon is still kinda private.

    Let's move the stuff. I have my old account again and I have my addon with me here, so I will  release it whole, tommorow.

    Intervention forces, their SWAT, field camo, its field camos and navy.

    It's 420MB big (and I love that size, light up for it) so I will make it seperate.

     

    No missions tho, I've finish only three and they are on my PC, far away from my current location.

    That much for this announcement.

     

    Not sure about zeus compatibility at all, it worked once I think...

  10. I hope this isn't a spam, but can you release two versions? One with ISIS for normal players, second with Iraqi Terrorists for touchy hurt pu**ies.

    Now I demand to remove all signs of SLA, because I remember what they did in first Arma. Also, rename Ukraine Separatists to Generic East Europe Fighters Without Real Inspiration.

    This is simply stupid. Because the real threat is RHS mod, they want us to join US army for sure. You can play as US soldier there and american flag patch available to put on shoulder.

    Maybe, if you live in United States or somewhere else, and you can get problems because of ISIS signs, you can hide behind someone from Europe, where are still reasonable laws...

    Now everybody see you can change it, you're not with them, so what about putting it back?

    I'm not downloading this (I don't use HLC anyway) and I hope next release will either have ISIS back or at least so many great new stuff, that I will don't care about those Islamic Black Boys...

    By the way, I understand you and why you did it, I just wanted to give you my point of view about how stupid it is. I can't imagine how someone will prosecute you, please, don't get scared by few restricted people around...

    It's just... yeah, I want to fight as czech soldier (and I'm scared I want to join the real army now :( ) against ISIS dogs, no reason to pretend it's Iraqi Terrorist and real world doesn't exist.

    It's more of a Takistani Terrorists by the way...

Hey there, I'm retexturing the Mi24V to tiger sqdrn Mi35 and since I'm using the textures of your hind, I just wanted to ask, if you want these textures for the addon or if I'm to release it myself (or keep it for myself since it's your textures after all). I've made the simpliest one already and at least one more to do. I'm also thinking about this black/blue one...

    Also, when we have Mi17 now, wouldn't it be nice to delete the Merlin and Hunter MRAPs?


  12. Ok, I just gave A3 a nice amount of playing and I fckin hate weapon sway!

    Like I play military simulations and that's how much I exercise, but this new fatigue system made fat little boys out of soldiers and even I could easily outrun them.

    I mean, even I, with my condition, can run more then them without swinging the gun all over the place and not being able at least walk fast.

    For example simple mission - Pandur will drop my team near the village, we clear the village and on the other side, Pandur will pick us up. But I almost can't get half way through the village without swinging my weapon like a broom and slowly walking around, because my super skilled sf operator is out of his breath. And it's a small village in Chernarus.

    I can only imagine how bad it would be, if A2 used this fatigue system. I mean, force recon would never make it in time, assaulting the city would be entirely impossible.

    Just move the slider to give soldier more stamina, or maybe just make the weapon sway less, because I don't know, it's really weird when my soldier just moves her hands like slowmo parkinson degenerate.

    Maybe the dev team should take a gun, some gear and start running around, then try to hold rifle straight. It's not that hard, yes? You don't swing your arms like you waving the flag.

    Please, do something. I don't want to use enableFatigue, I just want to be able to do soldier stuff without being little tired baby.
