Ah-ha,gotcha now,cheers for the info.I agree that it would be better I suppose but maybe they want to keep the key bindings to a minimum? But options are a godsend. :) Mick. -
Yes the AI are a lot more deadly now,mostly for the better but TBH when they call out "contact 2.5 klicks north" when I am running through woods and the AI they have spotted are also in some woods make it a tad unrealistic IMHO. Mick.

Sorry guys I don't get this one? What do you mean "fire mode"? Thought that was the "F" key.Swich to single,auto or grenade launcher with ctrl+F switching the types of grenades,what are you meaning to be different? Sorry for my ignorance, Mick. :) -

Could someone explain to me what it would be like on the receiving end of a tracer burst? I mean,the person firing the tracer can see where the round hits,but does the person/vehicle/whatever that is getting fired upon see where the tracer rounds originate? I have heard different explanations for this and I am still unsure. Any info folks? Cheers, Mick. :) -

Agreed,thanks for doing these. I would like to try and get used to making short missions for myself so this is right up my street. One thing I would like to learn is scripting.Not loads or big ones,just some small ones like the patrol script and how to put these into the editor and the best way to get them to work,so I hope you will cover that kinda stuff in some of your vids. Nice looking mission Ascorius, I really like the start with the boat entrance.One thing though,is there any way that when you die you don't turn into the seagull,instead you could go to another team member or respawn near to where you died? As the AI are pretty relentless now I have yet to make it to the first task,but I will keep at it, Keep up the good work bud, Mick. :) -
Arma 2 had breaking glass,in Utes at the airport you could shoot the glass out from the control tower,but I noticed you can't do that in Arma 3,probably will get some more lovin though. :) Keep up the awesome work BIS, Mick.

Love the new AI firefights

I agree the aggressiveness of the AI is a lot,lot better but it is a little to good I think. I set it way down to recruit and they were still getting me with one shot while I was running from 800+m. Fair enough let them spot you from that distance and maybe let them try to catch,flank you or even start to engage from that distance but first shot kills from that kind of distance every time with normal rifles seems a little much IMO. I don't want it dumbed down just a little more easy going to give a fair fight. Mick. -
Will the different game versions affect multiplayer? Meaning if some folk have updated and some don't won't there be any conflicts? Cheers, Mick.

Thank god they decided not to implement this.BTW,when you are in an opfor vehicle they know you are not on their side. "Can the player steal the uniforms of other dead players in multiplayer? Dan: We decided to limit this only to uniforms affiliated with a player's side. Although we were considering allowing the player to don any uniform at the start of development, it appeared that such generality would bring some very complex issues with AI and multiplayer rules. I was on a popular site earlier that I sometimes get films downloaded from and it looks like the game (A3) is cracked already. :( I bought mine from steam and to my knowledge A2 was never cracked (might be wrong), if this is the case then it is sad to see as I can see hackers galore in the future. :( Seems that a lot of Steam games suffer the same fate,even the big publishers,yet a lot of the smaller houses seem to escape this,don't know why. Mick.

I remember seeing this "change" in Arma2 during one of the updates, 1.60? maybe. I noticed it straight away as it did change for the worse,fair enough this is obviously an alpha but I hope it gets a little love in the full version. Great work BI enjoying A3 immensely. Mick. -
Hello folks, Just looking for a little advice,does anyone know if there is a game mode similar to warfare that has similar actions in eg: lifting stuff with helos? I enjoy playing the warfare mode and this would add a little extra spice for me, I apologise if this has been answered before in another thread.
