Hi all was just wondering if independent factions say like guerillas could be hostile towards bluefor as well ? ive searched around and havent really found what i was looking for, id like to have 3 or more factions going at each other, any help or a point to the right link would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all another newb question from a newb scripter, firstly i can hire a rifle man from my barracks using from my radio trigger juliet, "USMC_Soldier createUnit [getmarkerpos "hire", group player];and in my barracks i have, barracks addaction ["Recruit Rifleman1", "hirerifleman.sqs"]; with a marker named "hire". So i tried doing the same but hiring a corpseman from the field hospital using radio trigger india,"USMC_Soldier" createUnit [getmarkerpos "hire1", group player]; and for the hospital i have, hospital addaction ["Recruit Corpsman1", "hire1corpsman.sqs"]; with a marker named "hire1" but instead of a corpsman spawning from the hospital a rifeman spawns. What am i doing wrong tks in advanced. :)
  4. When i preview my mission in the editor i dont have access to my commands in combatmode, when i press 7 all the options are greyed out stealth, safe ect..what am i missing in the editor or doing wrong, thanks in advance.

  6. Thanks for the reply, i double checked and indeed my player is higest rank of the squad he is captain, and my squad is linked to him and all are of lower rank Lt. corp. priv. Any ideas what else it could be ?

Hi all, im new to these forums just picked up arma 2 a week and so far im pretty impressed with the mission editor,ive figured out a few things so far by reading these forums and watching some vids,so now here is my little prob.I have my sqaud at my base we all get in i radio for dust off and we head to the LZ for insertion.we get dropped off and then i radio again for him to leave and the chopper goes back and lands at the base.So how can i call him back to the LZ without adding more way points, is there a way to get the chopper to reuse his original waypoints,ive tried cycling the waypoints and have my radio triggers set to repeatedly,cant seem to figure it out ive looked through these forums and the web can only see extraction and insertion tips,would like to get this working so if i need to get me or some squad mates back to the base for immediate medical attention or resupply,or if there is a way to call him and get him to land anywhere on the map i choose would be sweet to. A point in the right direction or a little explanation would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance :)
  9. Great thanks i got it to work but is there a way to get the chopper to land instead of hovering a few feet off the ground.
