I have a similier problem , sorry to steal your thread but my disc wont read at all and its brand new.. what the hell

My firmware version is " optiarc - AD 7230A , My driver version is " 6.1.7600.16385" I think im all up to date, " Crappy thing is , The disc wont even show up in my D:/ drive , It showed a couple times and i installed the game all the way up 3 quarters a way's done but it just froze and I had to abort. - I really wana get this to work , just bought it today. Thank you for your time much appreciated if you can help me out. - I also have the version called COMBINED OPERATIONS < ITS NOT WORKING TO WELL CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?
