  1. Ok so here is my premise. I downloaded the Mi-26 (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=12312&highlight=MI-26) from armaholic and its awesome! working doors, working cargo bay and the like. It's just freaking awesome! I love how you have to actually drive the cargo (bradly,apc ect.) Into the vehicles and then attach it. Really adds to the realism!

    I envision heli coming in, opens back door, goes 30mph at 5alt. and the tanks rolls out lands and starts shooting!! ahaha ok this may not be possible BUT i did have an idea

    For passengers when you walk in you can see seats where you then use the scroll menu to "ride in back" which is great. when you "get out" it puts you outside the model of the heli on the ground. which is also fine. thats just how its done.

    This takes away from the realism however. I know i dream for a day when we can walk around the inside of the heli in midflight (hint hint arma3) LOL BUT there is a way to get closer to this goal.

    Is there a way to do a "load cargo" script for Players?? like the vehicles do for the mi-26?? This way players would have to open door to heli, walk onboard, over to a seat, use scroll menu to "load cargo" themselves in where there attached and then the heli takes off. When the heli lands they "unload cargo" and are next to the seat INSIDE the heli where they then have to precede out the door onto the ground!! obviously this can't be done for some existing models BUT is there a way to do this?? Thanks guys :)


  2. I believe that this would be useful for people who are playing with AI and who do not have a human spotter for them to laser the target.

    This would be great for single player. since you are reffering to using this with AI.

    2) Who really wants to be clicking on the map to designate a bomb target? Think about how fast you move over the target

    As for point 2... Hopefully you arnt clicking targets as you fly over them. you should be getting your target THEN setting up your flyover. But I would agree that it would be overpowerfull in Multiplayer BUT You would really be limited by ammo. Thus it wouldnt be as overpowerfull as you think. In my opinion the Autoreloading Arty is more overpowerd than this would be Because you can rain down hell 24/7 from a unsceen position.

    I think there does need to be somekind of Bomb dropping Interface or HUD or something. (if there is one I am ignorant to it) and this is a good start.


  3. TaskForce Blackjack Is justing getting into the PVP scene. We have only had one actualy match under out belts so far. Would love to get more PVP going. monday nights 9:30Est and later are the times we are availible anyone is welcome to join :)

Hey guys im completely new to this sound modding i have a home studio so i know sound like the back of my hand! my only question is,,, how the heck do configs work? and when the config has like 8 freaking sounds for one explosion are they layered? I think what i need is a pure and simple config tutorial with what it all means is there such a thing?? for example why in some sound mods are there 8 different sounds for one thing? what are the numbers after each sound file how do you get some sounds to echo and other not to echo? (im assuming thats part of the config)

  5. I believe Warfare is kinda like that.

    Well you know what I mean though. I am sadly not in the military yet so I don't know what it is called but there has to be someone controlling assets and squads that is sitting back away from the fighting that is calling the shots? maybe I am miss interpreting the point of squad leaders.

    Could also be that there is no way to add this into the game without first hindering fun game play. Ah well. I just think it would be neat :)


  6. You know what would really be KICK ASS!!!!!! a command center mod. Being a Commander of multiple Tactical units can be fairly hard in some cases using ACRE to rely and all that jazz. BUT what if we had a mod that had multiple screens showing for example your map, radio, and other pertinent screens for commanding. could be a computer you interface with or something (like artillery) IDK just had the thought.

    Really would add to the whole this is the command center side of the military without it being a bunch of paperwork. Kinda like what they had for Battlefield 2 you know???? except realistic


  7. HI! this training map is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! So first of all Kudos!!! Second, I am running all the ACE 2 mods with combined operation via Six Updater. When I select "select a weapon" the calculator in the right side of the screen tallys till 236, then the "ticker" stops. but the sound keeps going and going and going for about 1min 21 seconds. then it stops and the weapons panel appears like normal.

    This happens every time I use the ACE mods with this map.

    I used your map with combined operation "Vanilla" and it worked normal. Is there something I am doing wrong? I didn't see any one else having this problem :( :( help please!! :D
