  1. Well let's see what's on the table :) if Trump wins America gets.... what? A change? Something different? A shakeup? Confirmation of the actual ineffectiveness of the Presidential seat?

If Clinton wins what does America get? Exactly the same thing as it already has for decades now.

It seems clear to me that Trump is working to a plan. First step was to do two things simultaneously: say some ridiculous crap that:

    Got him endless FREE publicity.

Got him the support of all the low thinkers. (Getting the low thinkers early on was a great step. They generally don't like to change their minds and have difficulty responding to new information. Get them early and most of them will cling to their choice for the duration, and are easier to get at the beginning than at the end).

Next step is to methodically dispatch his direct opponents, one at a time in order of their threat. Does this by appealing to playground tactics, which disappointingly seems to work. Job done.

Now he seems on a glide slope to the Presidency. Scott Adams brought up an interesting point: Donald aside, the Trump dynasty is a good looking bunch. Who wants to watch Hilary & family become more decrepit over the next 4 years when the Trump family look like they're just going to continue blooming? Don't underestimate this idea, I think it will become maybe not the deciding factor, but certainly a part of it.

All he has to do now is to be more careful with his rhetoric, which is exactly what he's doing now. He's starting to use autocues more now. I think people had better start to think in terms of Trump vs West in 4 years time. ;)

Now do an analysis of Clinton.

  2. Our election and party system should be thrown in the trash. The two party dominance only narrows our freedom of choice, eliminating any chance for an independent to take on the presidency. This is where I have some respect for Sanders and Trump, they went in and "shook" the two party system, throwing them out of their status quo comfort zone.

I'd like to see a system that goes by popular vote alone. Keep it simple; whoever gets the most votes by the people wins.

I'll admit that Trump isn't perfect, neither is his personality favorable to some, but in the realm of the two party system where it's either him or Hillary, I'm voting for Trump.

I don't trust the mainstream media at all. In regards to choosing the lesser of two evils, I'll pick the one that hasnt been picked before.

We need to get rid of the corruption in our government, and get our country back on track. We can already see what Hillary can get away with now, just think about what she could get away with as president. Anything that is truly unconstitutional or unethical would likely get shot down by the other branches of government if Trump were in office.

We're in this election mess because our system is shit. Any hope of voting independent is faced with the reality that an independent has no chance of winning with this setup.

  3. I don't think there is any way you can convince even your own population that there is any good reason to nuke a country and kill millions of people, the ones that do call for nuking of countries are in the minority, granted americans tend to have a carefree mentality, we still have our limits and that goes beyond it.

Besides its horrible for the global economy, you just destroyed who knows how many natural resources and trade partners, chances are other countries aren't going to want to be your friends...what are we going to nuke them too?   It's a lose lose situation no matter how one looks at it, there is no justifiable reason and there is no positive outcome.

Also why start a war you can win when you can make bank on an eternal conflict that demands more and more logistics...oh wait we already have that.

From reading this article that was published in April, ISIL sprouted from Hillary and bankers' greed. No surprise here. The Iraq War likely started for similar reasons as well. Being humanitarians is an excuse/justification to carry on the overthrowing of foreign rulers.

  4. I will never understand the way how Ai commanding works in case of order "Take weaponX" - no distance given, no place given, nothing, you giving the order and your AI guy is disapearing somewhere in the bushes, then behind horizon. This need improvement. In () should be given distance from marked AI unit to action place so it should look like "Take WeaponX (50M)". That would be totally enough. Same for rearming, and all actions orders for AI. Its one missed place in upgrading the game from OFP.

Yea, that and perhaps a visual indicator which marks/highlights the target on-screen.

  5. About half of this is Turkish propaganda :PLike "training the Peshmerga Kurds", I assume the person you spoke to needs some lessons in English since the term for what Turkey does is "bombing", not "training".

From what the Turk said, they were bombing the Kurdish PKK (or something along those lines). They say the PKK are terrorists.

I'm not taking sides here, just reporting what I know to give a broader picture.

  6. Also, it was said that if ISIS were eliminated, Iran would fill the void or control the region. Kinda suspicious that Obama made that deal with Iran, essentially allowing them access to nukes IIRC.

  7. I'm going to stay unbiased here. There's no doubt that both sides are up to something. I'm just sharing the perspective of a Turk I talked to, to better understand the situation from all sides.

  8. I talked with someone from Turkey to get their perspective on the coup. Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country (for those who don't know, I guess). They love Erdogan as their leader. The Turks are fighting ISIS and have so far killed ~3000 of them. Turkey houses millions of refugees. The Turks believe the US and Gulen is behind the coup. They want the US to send Gulen back to Turkey so they can "deal" with him (they really hate Gulen -- the person I talked with called him ugly, lol); there were also a mention about someone named "John F. Campbell". The Turks hate our government because we're causing the mess in the Middle East with ISIS, destabilizing the region. The Turks are training the Peshmerga Kurds to help fight ISIS. The Turks hate Hillary, they mostly support Trump, some think he's racist, but they see that from our media, the same media whom is pro-Hillary.

The US isn't seriously trying to destroy ISIS, we could easily wipe out those goat fuckers (the Turk I was talking to actually used that term, lol). The US is trying to make Turkey weaker by allowing ISIS to grow stronger to further the destabilization of the Middle East, maybe to further the New World Order agenda set in by Bush Sr. From their perspective, the US attacked them. They hate America (not Americans) -- and to be fair, a lot of Americans hate the corrupt American leadership as well. The Turks have a lot of pride in their country and their leader, Erdogan. They describe themselves as brave and strong against the coup -- the civilians went out and attacked the coup soldiers, climbed on tanks, etc.

Just thought I'd share this useful perspective that I got from an actual Turk. Western media is absolute shit when it comes to reporting the facts. It's all propaganda.

  9. Pick your poison. They're all talk at this point, just go with the one with the message you agree with and hope they can deliver. I too feel that Hillary will win, regardless of the people's opinion. Rigged elections.

  10. That's quite incredible though.

A few month ago, no one (I think) believed Trump would make it as the Republican candidate.

Then, a few weeks ago, not a lot of people (I think) believed Trump would win the presidential.

Now, it appears he may have a chance.

    It's just wow!

Like if Marine Le Pen in France could win the PR!

Americans are beginning to realize how corrupt our government is, though some prefer to just tune it out and go about their daily lives. Having worked in county government as a programmer before, I can tell you that even government at the lowest tiers here have corruption in their upper levels. It's rampant. A lot of the claims against Trump, spread by the mainstream media and the DNC are mostly manufactured/false, evident in the DNC leaks. There were even plans to smear Bernie Sanders on his lack of religious faith, and to create fake Craigslist ads to slander Trump.

Trump has been overcoming many odds. I remember when people said he would never get the 1237 delegates needed to be the nominee. Not many people thought Trump was serious when he started, I included. Things have changed and many of Trump's claims have turned out to be true so far, and he is really resonating with a lot of Americans when it comes to putting America first in many issues, as it's obvious that things are very dysfunctional and detrimental to our future. His political incorrectness is perhaps one of his most liked traits for his supporters, and that he doesn't sugar coat issues.

This election is a very sensitive one with many voters taking one of the two extreme political sides. What I've noticed is that most Bernie and Trump supporters' align in cause; to stop the corruption and improve America for Americans. This election is more of a movement.

  11. So, it looks like Trump may become the next US president after all ;)

I'm going to try and remain unbiased in this thread. By the looks of it, it's very likely that Trump will be the next president. From the looks of it, Bernie supporters are very angry at the DNC, Bernie, and Clinton; with protests larger than that at the RNC. The establishment on the Democrat side is in damage control mode right now. In my opinion, the party system needs to go. People shouldn't pledge their political allegiance to a group, voting for someone just because they're part of their "team." It should be based on the character.

  12. The mainstream media is doing their best to deflect from the scandal. If you're not from the US, note that our mainstream "news" outlets are all owned by a few elites. Millions of Americans are at the disposal to the bias of a few.  Our news rarely reports on what's going on in the rest of the world, unless it involves a terror attack. They're all propaganda networks.
