Update regarding Store.Bistudio & Arma 3 Steam key distribution
cdr replied to Placebo's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE - GENERAL
I basically said that I attempted to buy it last night, that the site had gone down after I'd entered my card details and that I hadn't received any information. I mentioned that the money had gone out of my account (and the amount). Ended it by saying that I understood that they were probably busy currently, but any help would be appreciated. The card that I used was a VISA Debit card, not really a credit card - but it's VISA so works the same. -

About 2 mins after I sent an e-mail to the support guys, I got a reply with my Steam key. Top class work Bohemia! Glad that I bought the Supporters Edition, cos by God, you deserve it. -

Cheers for the reply W0lle, That's the strange thing, I've had no confirmation e-mail nor order number. The website literally timed out when I clicked the button at the end of confirming my CC details :( I have no issues in waiting, it'll all get sorted in the end - just thought I'd ask see if anyone else was in the same boat :) Failing that, I'll just reorder it. -

Out of interest, those that are waiting for key e-mails, does the game show in your 'My Games' list in the BIStore? I went through the entire purchasing process, entered my CC details and then clicked 'Continue', then the website crashed. Money has come out of my account, but it's not listed in My Games list. No idea if the purchase went through, or I've just lost $93 NZD. I'll send an e-mail anyways, and wait :) -
Hi all, Having another little issue with my 190, namely the crosshair. You'll see in the above pic the cross hair lines up pretty much with the gun sight, which is great as that's where you'd expect the bullets to go. But as soon as you look up or down in the cockpit you get this; The cross hair is now off centre, and as there doesn't seem to be a snap for up and down (like there is if you look left or right), it makes it very difficult to get the cross hair back onto the gun sight. I've noticed this only seems to be a feature added in Arrowhead, because when I try the aircraft in vanilla Arma II, it seems to be 'locked' onto the gun sight (or where the default centre of view is). Is there anyway to prevent the cross hair moving with the pilots view (which is a bit of a silly feature in the first place), and having it lock to that initial position? Cheers for any help.

Thanks for the replies guys - got it squared away with scripts and whatnot. She's almost done, just need to add some sounds / bomb / tweak some stuff here and there and it'll be good to go. Although it was initially done as a 'proof of concept' type thing (wanted to start off with something small prior to trying to put my Lanc in), I might release it - depends on whether the finished plane is of a high enough standard. Thought I'd brighten up this thread with some pics; Render of the 190; And some in-game shots;

Hi all First time putting something into Arma, so you'll have to go easy on this 'ere lad. Having a little bit of an 'issue' with my FW190. Everything was going swimmingly until it came to add weapons. After much searching, I eventually got the muzzleflashes etc working, but then I hit a brick wall. Trying to get the machine gun to fire from the two barrels that the 190 has on the wings. Adding the "memoryPointGun" line (with the appropriately named Memory Point in the Memory LOD), was great for getting the thing to fire from where I wanted to - but only on one side (the side the Memory Point was placed). I figured that there was no way to do it, until I remembered that the Littlebird has 'two' fire points for its single machine gun. So I gutted that 'bird and found what I thought was the relevant sections and added it to my config. It fires, but alas, from a single point (the centre of the model). config.cfg model.cfg Now, in the memory lod, I have points called muzzle_1, muzzle_2, chamber_1 , chamber_2 as per the Littlebird config and then the rest of the lods are just the standard ones for getting animations on the gear, prop, control surfaces etc. I am as stuck as Steve the Sparrow who flew into the glue factory and ended up inside one of the vats. Sorry for the long post, and any help would be gratefully appreciated (you'd also keep my barber in business, as I might actually have some hair left).
