  1. The only way to prevent user from doing shit with addons is: - Strict synchronization of files to a single directory. Every extra files found in this directory => automatic delete. Which imply that ArmA3 installation directory could not be use as synchronization directory. - Do not let user do mod selection manually. Start the game from selecting among predefined modsets linked to the repository (and then to the single synchronization directory).
  2. Tell your guys to: 1- Create a dedicated directory on the disk to download the files with name MyClanName OUTSIDE of the the ArmA3 installation directory. 2- Create a dedicated ArmA3Sync Profile with name MyClanName 3- In the ArmA3Sync Profile set the MyClanName directory as Addons Search directory 4- Import the clan repository/set the repository to download to the MyClanName directory 5. From this point selecting modset MyClanName => ArmA3Sync will look inside MyClanName directory only. For the Workshop fan boys: 1. Create a dedicated ArmA3Sync Profile with name Workshop 2. In the ArmA3Sync Profile set AmA3 installation directory\!Worshop as Addons search directory Now just switch between MyClanName Profile and Workshop Profile
  3. Just create a dedicated ArmA3Sync Profile for the headless client and another for the server then switch from one to the other, see => http://www.sonsofexiled.fr/wiki/index.php/ArmA3Sync_Wiki_English#Use_as_ArmA_3_server_administrator
  4. Run ArmA3sync-DEBUG.exe and see what happens in the console.
  5. You must check the server conf for max user simultaneous allowed connections.
  6. Localhost port 0 Check also /etc/hosts file
  7. Do you manage the files server by your own ? Looks like the server is rejecting multiple connections for a user => 3 mb/s /10 = 300 kb/s
  8. It seems to be possible for third party application to use a dropbox account. https://www.dropbox.com/developers-v1/core/start/java Now any low cost dedicated server managed by your own with FileZilla/Apache would do the job better.
  9. Try remove all addon search directories then re-add Is the PARA addons group generated from Modsets button?
  10. Run ArmA3Sync-DEBUG.exe Did you update java lately?
  11. Everything in the www folder will be shared. Before doing anything with ArmA3Sync, ensure you can browser and download files from from the Apache server with a web browser.
  12. Which version of ArmA3Sync are you using to build the repo? Try update it if not 1.6.92
  13. running arma3server.exe with -filePatching server side is useless as the server use the config file with "allowedFilePatching = 1" You must run client side arma3.exe with argument -filePatching
  14. Create a shortcut on arma3.exe with -filePatching as argument and see what happens.
  15. Was it the MIME configuration on II7 server as suggested returning 404 error with no extension files?
  16. Paste repository url on a web browser and see what happens.
  17. Give me by PM the server infos to login
  18. I think there is a wrong setup in FileZilla server. Use your web browser to find and fix it. ArmA3Sync is out of scope.
  19. It's defined server side by the arma3sync repository administrator.
  20. Presumably wrong repository url setup in arma3sync. Also paste the repository url on web browser from a local machine (=your PC) and check if you can browse and download files from there.
  21. ArmA3Sync 1.6 Update 2 now available Download: - Windows installer: here - zip archive: here Changelog: - Fixed: Failed to export autoconfig file (regression from update 1.6). - Fixed: External Apps run parameters not taken into account when using a script file as entry point. - Fixed: Upload repository: FTP error 501 returned when repository upload IP/hostname is setup as upload url (regression from update 1.6) .
  22. If it works with the web browser means firewall/antivirus/router is blocking ArmA3Sync.
  23. Copy paste repo url on a web browser and try to download files from there.
