Yeah same x2 680's lightnings both overclocked.. there's like some seconds of 99% usage then dissapears to 15% / 30% / 40%..What driver are you using? Mr_pix is using 314.07 he is getting better usage than me! i am on 313.96...that was better for arma 2 and crysis 3 for me than 314.07/314.14 ( that is probably better for arma 3)!

I notice that using one card or two has about the same performance! SLi does work, i can see both cards working at the same usage around 30-50% on msi afterburner. But when i disable sli, one card will work at 90-100% giving me about the same performance! this is on gtx680 @1320/1750 SLI i73930k @4.8 ram 16gb@2133 and 2 SSDs.

I put a couple downloaded missions on Missions folder and i saved a couple from the editor to singleplayer but i can't find the scenarios options on menu to go and play it!

Right now I'm trying to set up my key binds soW x 2 = Sprint
Shift + W = Jogging Pace
Default W = Tactical Pace
C = Toggles Walking
But the game always defaults me to Jogging Pace, so instead of shift taking me into a jogging run, it takes me to tactical pace
So essentially I'm asking, can I make ArmA 3 default my pace to tactical pace instead of jogging?
W x 2 = Sprint i just figured it...use wx2 to "fast forward"

There is already an Arma 3 profile in Nvidia Inspector on my computer, and the game already has an SLI compatibility mode set in this profile.Unfortunately it isn't actually improving performance at all - I get the same framerate with my 690 even if I disable SLI altogether, and the framerate isn't good.
The same here! 1 card 90-100%, 2 cards 40-50% each...and i get the same performance!Sli works but does not give you extra performance.

9 months ago the arma 3 was show on E3 and from the videos looked pretty good and very smooth! That was in a single gtx 580 + i7, so by now its probably even more optimized! i think we will get a better alpha than we are expecting! ;)

I am playing missions using Dserver+HeadlessClient+game in the same machine everything very high and VD around 4-5k !Best performance i ever seen in arma 2! All my cpu cores work at around 40-70%. If somehow they could implement that on the game in singleplayer missions too would make much easier to get better performance out of cpu and making easier to go higher on graphic settings!

Please check spoiler. Do you guys think I will be able to run A3 with medium settings?I think it's easy to understand that Arma 3 will be much more demanding.
Probably better than that! Medium and some high settings! Specially if you don't go to high on View Distace and AA.

Managed to get a mission going today with Dedi Server, HC and connected with same installation on same machine.
How did you do that?off line?

ACE wounds is on and there is the ACE healing and all that but if theres a guy bleeding it says he appears to be fine and so you dont get the full options.My character and friends never have passed out from running too much nor pass out from anything, there is no severely injured in this mission just pure death.
I had that problem and just fixed it commenting (adding //) these lines on the init-mods.sqf

You can test off line!Turn off your internet and try. You wont have cdkey problems! I have been playing (testing) an MSO-HC ready with 2 HC+Dediserver and game at the same machine with internet off! With all this all my cpu cores are working at 60%+.

Have to agree with Beagle on this ... and i blame those LOD fixes (well if you call them fixes) ... i remember not having any problems looking at the forest with my GTX285 + Q6600 ...Now,i get FPS drop by doing so on a GTX670 + 2600K @ 5ghz and nothing in my graphic settings is at very high except memory and object distance ... this doesn't mean that only graphical changes are the cause but maybe some other changes that i don't know of !
Memory should be on "default" for you card.

Are you guys going to make headless client independent from game CDKey on any future beta? So we can setup a few hc or hc+server+game on the same machine?

Because it's new and experimental tech that is still evolving. The requirement of a key may well be removed in the future, but I doubt that's as simple as flipping a switch. Before they can do that, they need to make sure that the functionality isn't exploitable, at the very least.I can use HC+DS+Game in the same machine with internet disabled. But will i or hc get "fade" effect?
And i do have another copy of arma 2 co...is there a way to use the second key for the HC or installing 2 copies in the same machine?

Bugs
1) Medics do not heal units.
2) When using ACE interaction menu on a bleeding or injured guy or anyone whose injured it always says 'They appear to be fine' when we examine them, and only seem to have the option of Morphine and Ephinerine.
This happens to me too!Even after reinstalling ace2.

This kind of setup will certainly make the most of your CPU cores, but make sure to set kickduplicate = 0; in the server.cfg file, since the HC will be using the same key as your game client.Thanks for the reply.
But no matter what i do...using kickduplicate = 0 or not i am still getting "cdkey in use".

Is there any gain in using dedicated server, HC and the player game in the same machine to play missions like mso or whatever in single player?How do i set up the HC in the same machine i play the game (CDkey) ?Do i have to install the game again with a second key?Or is there a way to add it to the HC only?
I have a 6 cores cpu i7 3930k @4.8Ghz.
By the way, i used TA2DST to setup and run HC and Dedicated server! i see HC connecting to server but i cannot connect bc of the CDkey!

try this: pp-very low aa-4 or 8 its about the same for me AF-ultra HDR-standard PIP-very high Dlights-Ultra Vsync in game disable TextQ-Ultra ObjcQ-high TQ-high CloudQ-High ShadowQ-high PQ-Very High ViewD 2000-1000-100... and vsync adaptive or normal, prefer maximum performance on Nvida cp. Control panel power options on High performance. and oc your cpu if you know how to do it. i am getting 60 solid with this settings and not to much ai. Only on the chooper mission i drops to 40-50. i am on gtx680 sli and 3930 4.8ghz.
