Thanks! Some people are using these configuration 5970+5870 or 5850 getting higher fps but i did not see any test in arma 2!Just crisys and blablabla games...and i did tri but could not get it to work right in arma! But i was getting the same fps and maybe was cpu limited plus some weird blackscreens during the gameplay.so i could not try it right! But thanks anyway! :)

I have a 5970 and was wondering if trifire with a 5870 will improve fps?I want more 3d resolution than 100%, like 133 to 150%. And more oc on my cpu will help? my setup i7 920 4.2 ghz wc 8gb ram 1600 5970 radeon wc ssd for arma 2 Thanks.

I just got a lcd after years using a crt and the game was looking very realistic now on the lcd looks like kinda a cartoon style!But when i change the 3d resolution looks way better! And on one 5970 i got at 1600x900 all very high 60 fps solid on lots of missions!Drops a little when there is to much AI!But i always had the 3d res on my crt(1600x900) at 100%! Change the arma2oa.exe to arma2.exe plus -nosplash -maxmem=4095 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4 -winxp That how i got solid fps! Thanks

I dont know what happened but that "whitescreen" stopped!So i could move to the next mission!And By the way this (Operation Red Star) is the best Campaigns so far (did not finish yet) that i ever play for arma 2!!!Way nice job!!! Thanks! and keep making Campaigns for us! You should work for BI!!! :)

Vixente i guess YOU did not read the guru3d forum!Some people are saying good things about 10.8 but 75% are saying bad things in every forum including guru3d!So why am i going to try this driver if i have 60 solid everywhere in arma 2 or OA (and all the other games i have mafia II, kane and lynch 2, bc2 and etc...) runing on very high 1600x1200 AA and AF on. using 10.4! Just got tired from trying new drivers...when lots but not just some people say the driver is good i will try! ;) i7 920@ 4.0 ati 5970 win7 64 intel ssd 80gb.

Hi! I liked the 72716 but was crashing too much! Does this 72863 has the same changes as the 72716 or a fix for it?So do i have to install the 72716 then 72863 on top of that or just the 72863 will do the job? Tx.

I have arma 2 CO and i start the arrowhead campaign and every time that i try to play a custom or the arma 2 harvest red compaing the only one that starts is the arrowhead one!!! Any help please?! Thank you!:j:

I got it!Was the "read only" on armaprofile! i untick it and problem solved!Tx!

I got it! You have to make a Addons folder in the ramdisk and add the all the pbos from arma 2 and all the pbos from Expansion\Addons to the same addons folder in the ramdisk!Just do copy the files the have the same name that i think was just one or two! Works nice! Tx!

Hey Rekrul! I tried with oa and could not get it to work Says it can't find some files!Maybe i'm doing something wrong! But just arma 2 works fine! I have Combined operations! And i need help too! If you get it to work let me know! Tx.
