RH M14 pack 1.0 for OA / CO

Just spent some time with them, loved every minute of it. I do have one suggestion though maybe you could use the Eotech, acog, and aim-point models from OA I think BI did a excellent job this time with them ... especially the Eotech and aim-point. Does anyone else agree? anyways it doesn't change the fact that these are awesome.. just my two cents :D

RH M14 pack 1.0 for OA / CO

Very very nice mate , thanks a bunch.... also those masks are pretty awesome I'm sure you would make a lot of people smile if you were to release them ;). Thanks again.
  3. hi gents, I'm currently creating a "sniper" mission and need help with a trigger, What I'm trying to do is have the player call for permission via radio before he takes the shot at the target.... What i currently have working is the radio command to become available to the player once he enters within 2KM of the target. This is working fine you cant see the radio option still you enter the trigger area, then the radio option "request Permission" pops up once your in the 2KM radius. NOW what I cant get working is the trigger which ends the mission (Fails) if the player kills the target WITHOUT calling for permission first.... what I've tried doing is setting up a trigger with the condition; (!alive target) AND (trig1 = false); I've also tried !alive target && trig1 = false; trig1 is a variable I've defined which turns true when you have called for permission. But both give me syntax errors and wont accept it, what am i doing wrong? is there an easier way of setting this up??? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks mate that worked fine, now I can finish my mission .
  5. Hi guys, I'd like to present my second Single player mission for Arma2 combined ops Operation Sandstorm - "You are to lead a German KSK team behind enemy lines to investigate possible war crimes and eliminate a Takistani Colonel". This mission was designed for single player play but will support up to 7 players for co-op, just bear in mind it may be to easy as its balanced for SP. As with all my missions I recommend using Zeus AI Combat Skills & AI Spotting modular by Protegimus, although its not a required addon. Operation Sandstorm features; -Detailed Breifing including photos -Working task hints -Hose patrol script (thanks to Wolffy.au) -save radio button (for those who like to play on expert) -UPS patrol script for random patrols (thanks to Kronzky) -Bullet time script (activates when you kill the target) -Mortar support Required addons; Arma2 combined operations It should take around 2 hours to finish in SP and I'm not sure in co-op, probably half that.Again i would appreciate any feedback that you have the good and bad and I hope you enjoy the mission!! Credits & thanks; designed and tested by Vicarious (please report any problems) Thanks to all those who write scripts for us mission makers ( Kronzky and Wolffy.au in particular)and thanks to all those on the BI forums and to BI themselves for the Arma / OPF series of course!. and to armaholic for their first class hosting!!! Operation Sandstorm v0.98 Operation Sandstorm (@)

Devil Dogs SF Single Player Missions

Great mission mate, love the pacing... I'm about half way through and no bugs at all, good job on the presentation too. thanks a bunch.
  8. @bulldog72 When you approach the officer behind the desk, look on the table for a folder then an action will become available in your action menu (mouse scroll) called "Take Intel", just select that and you will complete the objective, then don't forget to check your briefing for the updated information ;). If you have any trouble just PM me and I'll help you out. @ AP Arma 2 O FAN Thanks mate , glad you enjoyed it.
  9. Hmm not sure about that mate, as I have the retail version, maybe someone else can help you, or maybe you could search the troubleshooting thread. good luck.
  10. Your problem is your installing OA first so its not integrating with arma2. Uninstall them and Install Arma2 first THEN install OA when you go to install it it should automatically detect your arma2 directory and select it as the installation location for OA.... install it in that directory so in the end you will have only one Bohemia interactive folder and both games will be installed at the one location. Then you will have installed Arma2 combined operations... now place the .pbo in the missions folder and enjoy!!
  11. Thanks guys glad you enjoyed the mission, I've decided not to update this mission as after the majority of the feedback has been good, and there are no game breaking bugs, also I personally love just the way it is ;). So thanks for the feedback guys and keep a look out for my next releases.
  12. Great mission mate, I had no problems with it at all it had great presentation briefing, intro, working task hints and it was fun to play something so different for a change (I personally don't use the Vehicles much in Arma), so well done and thanks a bunch!!! I'll be looking out for your next mission
  13. Thanks mate I'm glad you enjoyed it, but therein lies my dilemma again... some say balanced others unbalanced ... I guess I just cant please everyone (each to his own), but I'll give it a shot , Thanks again!!
  14. Cheers mate I've re sized it (I Didn't know) BTW I have to SERIOUSLY recommend that you get ARMA2 I mean OA is better but your still missing out on a lot of awesome stuff, Cheers again.
  15. Cheers mate, thanks for the advice I will take that on board for the next update, About the difficulty... that's the thing I struggle most with I either feel like there are too many OPFOR or too few, that's I rely on feedback because I'm the only one who tests my missions. I'll implement both those suggestions in my update and I'm glad to see you enjoyed it

    [SP] Operation Skalisty

Defiantly, I was actually waiting to hear feedback saying weather or not the mission was difficult enough or had enough action, its something I'll be adding to the updated version. Thanks again.

    [SP] Operation Skalisty

first off Thanks for the feedback mate, i'm glad you enjoyed it i will try to address the issues you mentioned; 1. All units spawn on initial loading of the mission, I don't have any vehicles or units spawning via triggers minus the extraction chopper, and just under half the units on the map have a 50% - 60% possibility of presence to keep the mission fresh for replays. but I'll definitely have a look and see. 2.I think that this may be attributed to the AI in arrowhead, personally Ive been having trouble setting units back into "safe" after they have been put into danger mode. Also i created this mission using the 71900 beta patch..... interesting ill check it out. 3. This has happened to me before, so i think I'll definitely have a look into that issue I'm not certain its mission related but ill try to find a cause and hopefully it will be fixed in the next update. Thanks a bunch for the feedback mate, I'll try and update it as soon as I can

    Briefing help / task help

@snK that's just the way Ive always done it, maybe I learned it incorrectly but it still works, then I just use the variables in other triggers for example "(this) AND (obj1) AND (obj2);" later in a mission. so what your saying is we don't need to set the public variable or set it to true??? seems simpler I'll give it a shot thanks mate.

    Briefing help / task help

    hi, you are missing a semicolon, unless this is the last line in your briefing you must have a semicolon where I have highlighted Obj1 = player createSimpleTask["task name"]; Obj1 setSimpleTaskDescription["task description"]; And on a side note I think you should define your variables before you set them to "true" I'm not sure if this really matters but I always define them first then activated them in that order, But if it's working for you like that than I guess its fine ... just a thought I could be wrong. e.g... Obj1 setTaskState "SUCCEEDED"; publicVariable "obj1"; obj1=true;
