So what i should do is put video memory back to default, and adjust my settings until they do not use more than 2GB of video memory? Will try to test that out.. thanks for idea -

I have tried Default vs Very high for my card HD6950 2GB. Default i have nice framerates and good detail no blurry textures, popping textures etc. but after awhile once my VRAM is finished (out of memory) my game crashes to desktop or has the black "receiving" screen and i have to kill the game manually. i use the -maxVRAM=2047 parameter still no dice. Very high i get not so nice framerates and sometimes blurry textures but i can play the game for >2hrs no crashing. But i only utilize ~800mb of video memory... grrrr... -

Is it just me or the GPS has increased in size from patch 100697? i upgraded from that patch and noticed that first person GPS and map GPS has increase in size... Thanks. -

I still use this mod regularly, even on MP! only disable it when i get kicked for disallowed pbo. :P -

i use autohotkey to assign keys to my mouse button, and only when "arma2oa.exe" is active and is foreground application. (so it don't activate keys when im not playing arma). http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/misc/Remap.htm http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/IfWinActive.htm Example mapping delete as ACRE key to mouse button 4. #IfWinActive ahk_class ArmA 2 OA #UseHook On XButton2::Del #UseHook Off #IfWinActive hope this helps. -

Or you can select the \expansions\beta as a mod checkbox in the start tab right side. Either should work. -
also you need to zoom in (numpad+ key) too.

Hi, just wanted to report that i updated to 579 version and it reset all my keybinding to default, i thought i had to open clippi, then launch ace and redo all my bindings. so now for betas eg. 98220 the keys are saved to userprofile ala "nickname.vars.ArmA2OAProfile" file? Is that what that file is for? I noticed that new file been created. I was using version 575 before and update straight to 579 FYI... But IMHO i still prefer the copy all text to settings.ace file overwrite and save method, haha! :P

try using something like AutoHotkey and binding backspace key action to your mouse? and make it work only when "arma2oa.exe" is active so it won't conflict with other programs.. hope it helps.

to this post. exactly what i'm using for mod-groups and CO. been using it since OA release and no problems whatever, except list of players on server not showing in server browser, not that impt imho. thanks for taking time to post/help others. -

are u sure the power is effective for all channels or just the currently selected one? -
hmmm did u try to do a 'sync with su portal' in SU? or maybe update your sixupdater? maybe it is old version. hope it helps.

I can second this. I was playing around with the surround settings and found that this let me hear people speaking behind me in the direct channel properly now. Previously is either i get very quiet 5.1 surround sound or proper volume but only front channels, only for people speaking in direct, not using radio. -
use six updater, solves most of these problems. as for no.3, if u have CO u need CBA, CBA_A2 and CBA_OA now.

You need to create the folder yourself, by defaults its not there. C:\Users\Username\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\InGameName\Sound Hope this helps -

Seems the problem is back again. Deleting the userconfig\lea folder then pressing 'apply to @lea' then 'apply profile' to recreate the lea folder gives me all the duplicated loadout_xx.sqf again. I hate having to manually delete all the duplicates and edit the loadout.sqf to remove the duplicate lists... -
Hi all, i have updated to 1.62 patch, and i am missing servers in the in-game server browser. for eg, i clear all filters (by pressing default then ok) and press refresh, the list that is returned is somehow a subset of the full list. cos i sort by server name, and i cannot find any server start with 'TAW...' yes i have searched in the top of the list and at the bottom where all the servers with the red X icons are... but when i put that string into the filter and only filter 'TAW...' servers i get ~12 servers, which is correct. anyone else encounter this issue? i feel it is somehow connected to this issue i posted here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?81060-ArmA-II-launcher-by-alpinestars&p=2196508&viewfull=1#post2196508 in the launcher server browser, notice that the number of servers retrieved is maxed out at 500, weird. this did not happen in 1.60, i am sure cos i always have my filter not set to filter anything. thanks alot!!! EDIT: sorry, now pressing default in filter dialog sets ping to value of '100'. i manually change value to '0'.

Thanks for that sickboy, didn't know abt the gamespy change. Any idea if that is gonna change? yup six-updater is able to show ~700++ servers, thanks for that. oh well just gotta live with it for now.
