  3. @DN: I need to see what is on the console when you start the game with Fraps and TRACKIR5 enabled into ArmA3Sync. There is something to see with it for sure. Try also with no one enable if the error message still come up. For the no spash screen try: 1- Enable it 2- Close ArmA3Sync 3- Open ArmA3Sync ok here is fraps and trackir5 enabled: (error message don't popup with them disabled) fraps and trackir5 disabled: ok maybe i need to elaborate. i have 3 profiles in my arma3sync. lets call them profile 1, 2, 3. i go to profiles->1, check the 'no splash screen' checkbox. i then click profiles->2, and check the box, same for profile 3. click profiles->1 and check thru each profile to ensure checkbox is ticked. close arma3sync leaving profile 3 as the active profile. i open arma3sync again, and profile 3 is default active, go to launcher options, 'no splash screen' is still checked. click on profiles->1, 'no splash screen' has been unchecked, and its the same for 2 and 3 too! very weird behavior, only affecting no splash screen checkbox. thanks!!! EDIT: as a workaround for now i would just add -nosplash manually in the 'additional parameters' textbox in the bottom right of the launcher options tab.
  4. That's weird. Do you also launch external application from ArmA3Sync with ArmA 3? Could you try running ArmA3Sync.bat file and paste the console content here. Wow thanks for fast reply! Yes i have set it to launch trackir5 and fraps automatically. Works fine here with 1.2.37. Are you sure ArmA3Sync is running with Administrator priviledges? Yes i have enable 'always run this program as administrator' in the program properties. Is there a way to see what exactly are the startup parameters saved to each profile on disk? i try to open my corresponding a3s.profile and its not exactly human readable text... i have tried to check and save various other options in launcher options like 'default world empty', 'no file patching' etc. only the 'no splash screen' would automatically uncheck itself on next launch. confirmed by seeing that the right side textbox also remove the -nosplash parameter. ok. Hi major_shepard, i am always getting this error when i click 'start game' first time after starting arma3sync. the error doesn't affect the game launch, just wondering why it happens. java is updated to jre1.7u51. i am running 1.2.37 arma3sync. also the checkbox for 'no splash screen' in launcher options doesn't save after i check it and close arma3sync, it always defaults to unchecked. used to be working fine 2 updates ago, could you check on it? could i request for a new feature. in help->preferences, could we have an option for 'at game launch->close arma3sync', which would close arma3sync upon game launch. thanks for the great program, especially LEA.

    ACE for OA 1.13

    +1 for this. usually if i have tourniquet i apply it first for heavy bleeding, then apply bandage/elastic until bleeding is stop then remove tourniquet. i also read somewhere that one shld stop all bleeding b4 applying epi/morphine. usually i like to apply morphine (if needed) to an unconscious player b4 epi to wake him up so that he doesn't wake up and run off b4 i fully heal him. some people don't know how to 'accept morphine' thru the scroll menu.

  10. 2nd the reply about the plugin slider. i dont recall it working for me at all. and yes i also encounter the problem with ingame sounds overpowering acre radio and local 'direct' chat... unchecking 'always set clients 3d positions when available' option in ts3 options->playback may help increase vol slightly

    Launch CO with Alpine Launcher Steam

    Did he install OA into the same folder as Arma 2 is installed? Did he run Arma 2 standalone once before running OA? Check the settings tab, did you select the correct exe for arma2.exe and arma2oa.exe? My launcher somehow put this mod down to lowest priority. Thats why it didnt load for me. Once i change it back to loading as first mod (after the beta of course) its working again. Is that the way its supposed to be? As in if this mod is loaded last priority the blur is not removed?

  23. hmmm is it just me or this mod is not removing the blur in beta 101747? i am sure the mod is loaded as it shows up in the expansions menu, and also the dta folder contains the okt_noBlurOA_for_beta_101747.pbo. haven't tested with anything later. Thanks for the great work keeping up with the betas.
  24. will try and report back EDIT: ok i did multiple testing with multiple values in -maxVRAM, like 1536, 1792 etc. all of it gets ignored on default video memory setting. it will happily allocate all available VRAM as needed by the game, till it soft crashes with black receiving screen looping. i have also tried texture detail normal vs high. normal uses ~200mb less video memory than high, and it instantly has a change in my video memory monitoring. (i use ATI tray tools overlay to monitor gpu usage and free VRAM ingame) in chernarus with its huge expanse of trees you can easily use alot of VRAM just by looking around 360 and zooming in with binocs/scope. what i normally do now is: for islands with high VRAM usage eg chernarus, zargabad, takistan. i will use normal texture detail and default video memory, monitor usage, and when it nears ~256mb VRAM free i will do a manual flush or alt-tab to free up VRAM. for islands with lower VRAM usage eg fallujah. i can afford to use high texture detail with higher viewdistance and monitor, but so far never needed to do any flush after ~2hrs of gameplay. hope this helps.
