  1. First of all -- setting up WICT is really easy, you just have to copy paste and modify some parameters -- if demo is working than any mission should be working. And I don't understand why you didn't ask for help earlier?

    Nevertheless, I will check settings again to see if I can make them easier.

    I prefer COOP than PvP, so I am making that kind of missions, but WICT is capable of supporting PvP in the same manner. AI is not moving from the base, they will guard captured base and that base will spawn new units. They will only move if there is too many units on the map, so rather than spawning new units, the game will mobilize already spawned units.

    Sandbox Chernarus will be free roam mission / campaign but with clear objectives and dynamic objectives. And WICT will be down in the area where mission is taking place.

    And it will be SP/COOP/MP. However for people having CO or OA it will be live.


  2. No, your ideas are always welcome and you constantly forget that it was you who said "I want player to be more connected with environment and gameplay". Copy / paste is not recommended method. If you want to use it in Chernarus you should tweak sqm, there is chapter in manual.

    And WICT.utes is enough to see how WICT works.

  3. There is an update already, version 1.5.

    I still have the mission I created for DR, I can put it on Rapidshare when you want.

    But it wasn't near to come to WICT.... If you want to script I wouldn't recommend it because if ArmA2 single player was buggy --- DR editor is ultra super duper buggy. Especially the spawning process that is hard to control.

    DR is only visuals and fps, I can tell you now. And WICT brings the kind of action that wasn't there even in DR. AI is kind of stupid and CoD style -- a lots of "missing" shots just to make effects and make long lasting fights -- Counter Strike is more thrilling....

    That's my opinion now. Don't give up on ArmA.

  4. Hey Katipo66, thanx for testing. I appreciate the testing. You have to check the Excel file to fully understand which parameters can be tweaked. The script you wrote is spawning 4 groups + player = 5 and the it waits for clearing. So I all are west or east they won't kill each other and the script sleeps. I will fix that. Just write a 100 and you will see.

    2) I don't want to compare my script to DAC? Is it necessary? I had a detailed look to DAC manual and I know you are the fan, but I am making something different. Both scripts are for populating world, but the *philosophy* is different.

    3) One missed flight is too easy... I know, I will change that!!

    4) Safe houses, frontlines, vantage points, vehicles -- I am working on it right now! Did you say that sometimes you don't feel connected to the gameplay? (or somebody else said, I don't have that message anymore)
