  1. That´s why I asked about doing SLI of GTX 560 ti. At the moment I have a LG 22" that handles only 1680*1050. So, I'm trying to determinate if it is reasonable to buy one GTX 560 ti first, then a new monitor and another card. Or just going towards a GTX 570 or GTX 580. I´m buying this system:(before you read this, note that I´m from Brazil and hardware here is almost price of gold:mad:) i5 2500k - R$ 540,00 Gigabyte p67-ud4-b3 R$ 640,00 4gb 1600mhz ram R$ 210,00 SSD 60gb OCZ Vertex 2(for ArmA 2) R$ 440,00 GTX 560 ti (ECS) R$ 779,00 GTX 570 (ECS) R$ 999,00 GTX 580 (EVGA) R$ 1580,00 I already have the rest of the system: a COSAIR TX950 Psu and a old a WD 500GB 7200rpm Sata2 for storage. Sorry about my english, and thanks.
  2. A SLI of Gtx 560 ti is a good choice? I mean, a pair of this cards are cheaper than a gtx 580.
  3. I agree. The point is that, with all this products, the price tend to drop considerably. That´s the better way to add value to a system, IMO.
  4. Ati´s 6970 e 6950. I'm waiting till next month to build my system. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6970-radeon-hd-6950-cayman,2818.html http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/38899-amd-radeon-hd-6970-hd-6950-review.html
  5. Average 50, minimum 20 FPS. I don't know exactly... I was wondering... if a pIIx4 overclocked to 4,0 Ghz could run this game near the max view distance, since this setting is mostly cpu wise.
  6. Ok guys... I´m buying this system: Phenom II x4 970 3,5GHz (very Oc'able) Asus Crosshair IV 2*2Gb Ram 1600Mhz Radeon HD6870 Western Digital 1Tb 7200 Rpm SataII HDD ______ With this specs I´ll be able to run Arma 2 mostly in Veryhigh and good view distance decently???:j:
  7. Hey guys, Im building a new rig and found some good prices in this system: PII 965 BB HD 6870 4gb ram 1tb Sata 3 HDD Should it run Arma 2 well? Or intel´s i5 or i7 r the way to go?? I know that other games run just fine, but Arma 2 is objective.
  8. What is your Mobo? It accept Amd Phenon II x4 925....965?? Because thats the option. Quad-core these days, nothing else. By the way, what graphics card are u looking for?
  9. Thanks Leon86. My concern now is about the cpu bottleneck. How the Phenon´s x6 are working in this game?
  10. Folks, Considering this system: Phenon II x4 925 4gb ddr2 1066 Hd 4890 or I5 750 4gb DDR3 1066 Hd 4890 What performance can I expect on Arma2? DDR2 or DDR3? This system is much worse than a i5 and DDR3? or just adding a hd5870 or a gtx 480 will run just fine?
  11. Guys, Im also considering this notebook Toshiba Qosmio X505 Q860 Intel Core i5-M430(dual core) at 2.26 GHz (2.53GHz with Turbo Boost Technology), 3MB L3 cache. 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory 500GB hard drive. Display: 18.4â€, 1680 x 945 resolution. NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M with 1GB (128 bit) GDDR5 discrete graphics memory, plus up to 1.3GB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory using NVIDIA TurboCache technology. Note that this is a dual core cpu. Will this system run fine arma 2? With good quality? Here is a decent review http://www.mobiletechreview.com/notebooks/Toshiba-Qosmio-X505.htm
  12. How can I perform ARMA 2 with this system? i5 750 4 or 8 gb ram Asus PD55-D LE Evga Gtx 470 I also have a Lg 22'' lcd monitor that can handle 1680x1050 @60hz Should I consider to go i7 x58 plataforms? Thx
