    Dude get it, I got it straight from Zeus's servers ages ago, I'm not a idiot, I manage all these things on my own and ran servers and server companies related to this stuff for the last 6 years, I don't need your crap. I asked a simple question, got my answer, now bugger off, you're not always right like you think you are. Sorry for the rant people and thank you Robalo for kindly answering my question :) Is there any possibility for this to be added in the future...I've tried RUG_DSAI in the past but it just didn't do what Zeus does for me, AI chatter wise, crazy I know but my guys really like the immersion it adds. Zeus does (Though seem to remember some versions or lighter packages not having it. But these I got straight from them on their last released link before he quit.)
  2. I can't seem to get AIR drop to work, things get stuck in the sky! Little hard to reach the supplies unless I am like 900 feet tall XD Edit: Has to do with the beta, disabling it fixes it, but seeing as the current line of betas are mostly AI reworks and fixes rather not have to disable it. Edit2: Only seems to be in specific boxes, too many to label, but ACEX US Basic Ammo Or something like that doesn't drop. out of 49 non-ace boxes 17 get stuck currently (Mass drop no idea what was what) Side note: In UTES, I happened to notice the spawned carrier has a floating paint helipad.

    If I disable my current ZEUS, they no longer chatter, I enable it, they do. Also other then ACE i have none of the above. And without Zeus while standing around in a "safe" setting, they do not laugh and chatter casually, or rather, at all, without Zeus.

    This may sound silly, but, does this AI mod also have the idle chatter Zeus has? Like that will humm and all sorts of stuff, not over comms or in text, but in open world. We do a-lot of stealth night ops as under equipped resistance, so that kinda thing really adds to the immersion

    Mine isn't like that, though...so...and me and my group all have the same modline, yet only two of us have the issue, we all have the same mods, and all use the same tools and all named and ordered identical, for exactly this kinda scenario not to happen, yet again, two us of us have that error, rest do not.

    Mkay as i said, it's not, and my modline does look like that, it has for ages. I was running all previous betas fine, installed the latest and got this error, no one else in the beta post seem to be getting it ran a search and found someone here getting it :P

    Me and my friend also have this issue, and it is not related to mod order or the like, as we have tried it all and use a launcher that has never had a issue for over a year.
  10. Yeah being able to make static patrol routes is nice for setting up base camps and occupations. It's something we really enjoy doing as we do ALOT of night time guerrilla warfare.
  11. I see, well the features are still very useful to have. Can you explain what you mean by full control? Because sometimes I want the troops to patrol between two points. Not to mention setting a radius on a star patrol pattern etc.
  12. Hey man just started taking a look at this over VTS and i gotta say it's rather nice. The only issues i have with it are the lack of ability to set patrol patterns and paths and a choosable shop for buying things like guns and ammo from (With VTS you could set it to a object or person, really whatever. i do not believe you can do that with this tool). That is it, you have done a fantastic job of making this do everything it did and better minus the above!

  14. Having trouble getting my updater to actually put the mods in my install. My pack folder is on another drive separate from my SSD, and it downloads the mods fine, but doesn't actually export them to my install. So I end up with the folders etc, but not actual files in them, what's going on???

    Sorry but Arma prides itself on it's ability to be diverse and deliver your personal choice of how you wish to play the game. Hence why it is so modable, if this was not the case you would not need the mod-ability this game has. Keep this in mind when saying such things about Arma, the more diverse of a playing style it can cover out of box, the better chances it has of going viral.

    i don't usually post on these kinds of things but having many friends that were part of the Ranger's and sent into deep recon I got really irritated with this discussion having read it. The idea that a knife is mostly useless is a fallacy, yes silenced weapons from afar are indeed much quieter HOWEVER. The impact of a bullet into a person is not, the chance of passing through the person and colliding with a object behind them, is high, and also quite loud, and the drop of the body is not gonna be quiet either. When COMPLETE stealth is a must, knife is used, OFTEN, I don't get where people come up with this stuff. I sit and listen to stories of night ops he's done in Kuwait all the time where the knife saved his ass on so many occasions. Knife should be put in, in the proper manner, also keeping in mind the fact that a trained soldier is gonna have a 95% kill rating with a knife, instantly and/or extremely quietly.

  21. I also cannot get it to connect to teamspeak, even with the latest standalone on the web directory you posted that came with a RC TS3
  22. I had tried with mods and without, both yielded the same affect. The only mod I left on was ACE, which i imagine a vast majority of people are using. I don't have any inclination to play without ace, so as much as I'd like to use this mod, as described above it's not a go. This is a great mod I'd be more then happy to do more testing if you like but the only mod it could be conflicting with is ACE which is not a good thing.
  23. Adding to the list is; Joining two players to a group forces the non Team Leader to become AI and unplayable until the player reconnects. The "computer" tends to stop responding to player input for setting patrol between points and move to point on map etc until closed, waiting for countdown to completely elapse then retry, makes things very cumbersome. I'll let you know if i find any more...
