Received the throat mic today, tried it out with mixed results. My neck is big with some fat so that could be the problem. Maybe it would work better for skinny no fat necked gamers but for me it was a bust. Back to the Razor Carcharias headset.Well shit, that rules me out...

Yeah, there servers are $59.00, that was a little bit on the steep side for me....if I knew i had constant donations, maybe, but since i am paying for this out of my own pocket, I have to be a little more frugal.

That works. I have been doing ArmA2: Combined Ops Game Server, and I wasn't getting much, but thanks anyhow Foxhound.

Hey Ladies and Gents (probably more Gents)
Is there a list of game server websites that offer Combined Ops as a possible purchase for server purchase/rental? I am looking for a 10-12 slot server for my clan (will increase as I increase members of course), but I am looking for something in the $25-30 range.
Is there a list somewhere, I put it through the search, and I haven't come up with anything.
I have
DefCon and Art of War servers (they are about 25-30) but are there anymore? NFO stopped giving out anything smaller than 32 slots.
If you have any links or anything like that I'd appreciate it.

He just said that things are a fortune, and not only that some people can't afford the near future Sandy Bridge Processors by Intel, you may have unlimited pockets, but I sure as hell don't.
But to answer your question domiS, yes the AMD Phenom X4 955 Quad @ 3.2 GHz and the GTX 460 would be fine to run this game.

BOGOTA – Detectives arrested reputed drug trafficker José Ayala Muñoz, whose extradition has been requested by the United States, Colombian police said Wednesday.
Ayala was captured on Wednesday night outside his home in the northwestern city of Riosucio, Gen. Carlos Ramiro Gutierrez told a press conference.
He emphasized that the operation was conducted together with Interpol and coordinated with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Ayala is thought to have acted as the liaison between Colombian cocaine producers and Mexico’s “Five Sisters†cartel, Gutierrez said.
The arrested man “reported directly†to Five Sisters boss Juan “El Chapo†Lopez, according to Gen. Gutierrez, who said Ayala was once the top lieutenant to Colombia kingpin Willy Vargas, who was killed in Venezuela in January 2008.
Gutierrez said that it was Alaya “who coordinated the first shipment of millions of dollars seized from the so-called ‘Drug Trafficking Board of Directors’ on Sept. 16, 2009, in containers being shipped from the port of Manzanillo (Mexico).â€
More than $27 million was seized at the time by authorities at Colombia’s main Pacific port, Buenaventura.
Apparently, Ayala was the owner of a shipment of more than 6.4 tons of cocaine that was confiscated last Dec. 29 in Buenaventura, from where it was going to be shipped to the United States via Guatemala.
The police chief said that Ayala is wanted for extradition by the United States, as per a May 2009 request by a federal district court in New York.
In addition to property in Colombia, among which are aircraft used for transporting cocaine shipments, Ayala owned in Mexico and Panama “a luxury ranch, a yacht and high-end vehicles,†Gutierrez said.

Nothing much, just a mission, my Mil Sim group ran a week ago. -
It's actually worse on your computer if you constantly turn it on and off. Just so you know. It's ok to reboot once in a blue moon (once a week), but the constant, on/off/on/off...it takes it toll.
I actually do this, and you see no rise in your electric bill.

It may actually be Arabic mixed with Dari and Pashto. But I'm not sure about that either.Considering the group I play with, we all know some foreign language (I know French and Spanish, and I have just started learning Arabic) and another guy I play with speaks fluently in Arabic, Farsi, Dari and Pashto....I am pretty sure we know. Those are the languages in the game. They just have horrible accents.

It's actually a mix of Arabic and Dari with a little Pashto mixed in

you need a mic, and to mark position use the compass or vectorThis, this, this....it's just like real life.
Me and my buddy are a sniper/spotter team....I usually carry a SAW and an AR...but I use my compass and range finder to point out targets. Works pretty good.

Actually I never moved it, I have always had it installed on my D: drive. That was the point of me having it on my D: drive. Now my C: drive has my OpSystems on it, so I have never moved it. It just doesn't come up correctly. That would be where you guys come in.

It didn't detect ArmA2 in the right drive actually...it was going to detect it into C:Program Files (x86) etc etc
The drive I have ArmA2 on is my other hard drive D:

Well I am in a different predicament, I bought the Steam version of A2 and the DVD version of OA....and I'm mad confused.
-
I was on the sniper mission where there was a campfire...and it showed up in the FLIR.
-
I have a problem...
I have the Steam Version of A2 and the DVD version of OA...I have A2 on my second hard drive (where I put all of my games)...I use two hard drives, one for games one for OS and what not...
Do I just install OA like normal on my D drive? and then use it as a add on or what?
-
McGarrb, looks like you'll be ok, just make sure you have a decent case with good air flow and a good PSU *Recommend corsair or antec*. What kind of heatsink are you looking at??
-
Everything but the processor is good.....I don't even think you need that big of a GPU...this game is more processor heavy then GPU...I run a HD4350 and it runs like glass, of course I am using an Phenom II x4 @ 3.00
Possible to make a floating camera for 1st person?
in ARMA 2 & OA : ADDONS - Configs & Scripting
Posted
Wouldn't that be creating a basic camera.esq script and running it?
