any chance of this evolving into making new skins? would love to see KSK operators like this: http://www.taz.de/uploads/hp_taz_img/xl/ksk_b.jpg coyote brown platecarrier, mich helmet, bolle goggles. and all models with nomex gloves, they are mandatory for forces outside the wire. great to see people working on european forces, especially ISAF partners! -

ANA - Afghan National Army

Don't know if this came up already but ANA is getting issued digitalized camo. saw em get it in late 2009, first the kandaks in the citys I guess. All the riflemen got the M16A2 since 2008. the commanders tend to have the M203 UGL to show off. Machine gunners have the M240L without optics and some still have the PKM. the commandos sometimes wear ACU but I guess they are being forced to use the new print too. Nontheless good work on the reskin. Great job taking on this project as it honors the men who are struggling to build up their country. just google "ANA camo" and see what comes up at images for the camo print. have a good trip! edit @ Superrat: Would be nice to see some green and tan color ranger cars for the ANP and ANA ;) -
any way to make the icons on the map like normal units? (not like the USN SEALs trident) great fan of your work! multicam units are great and the units with the helmets are perfect for realism. nice to see a RTO too :) not a lot of them around in other mods

@Aeneas2020 just read Tangodown forums and happy to see the progress. models are coming nice togather, only need some nomex gloves and you'll be done :) about references: sorry to say but VXR is Royal NetherLands Airforce (profile-> bio:"KLu"), they do things a little different, like the whole jacket issue. The jacket with the one pocket that closes with velcro is mainly used on base as it is not very handy in the field because teh ops-vest will cover the only 2 big pockets it has. (wearing it under body armour will force teh zippers in your chest) Reference photos on Royal NetherLands Army and Royal NetherLands Marine Corps websites are teh best way to verify information but are mostly a few months slow on releasing new photos. the arktis smock is handed out to everyone in ISAF, to bad its a cheaper brand but looks the same. the thing we did like where the UBACS in desert camo, perfect to wear with body armour. KCT are with TF55, another taskforce operating with OEF. they get (like every SF unit) the latest and greatest on military equipment, for example they are wearing multicam in theatre, probably a test or something. ( )the desert/woodland mix is applied by many, mostly combat units as they dont take clothing regulations seriously outside the gate and the mix works well when doing patrols in and out of the greenzones. the pink colour is already in the desert clothing when you get them, it will wear off soon. I guess it has something to do with the anti-bugs solution they soke it in (inpregnating? is that an english word?) guess it has something to do with that because teh first time I got the desert it wasnt pink also didnt have the anti-bug threatment. so it works for every desert theatre after 2008. good thing you dropped the ISAF patch, I liked it but agree this will make the units usefull for any type of mission. just to be clear to everyone, I'm in service with the Royal NetherLands Army, deployed 2 times to afghanistan with the infantry and love my job as it is my hobby. I'm psyched to see a dedicated RNLA/RNLMC addon for ArmaII and want to help in the only way I can, giving accurate information about the RNLA and AFAIK info about the RNLMC. I trust all the info provided is non classified. hope it helps!

I'd like to see a mod adding radio chatter of other friendly units, like you have firesupport-net on in the background. the idea giving it to vehicles is nice, a lot of vehicles still use speakers. I dont really expect CDF has the newest equipment so they could use it too! would be nice to have radio chatter not like the robot like BIS chatter. -
really good! chestrig is looking nice :) very nice ISAF patch and sleeves a bit rolled up. really like the helmet edge showing the rubber attach system making these models very deatailed. using your models again :) really nice KCT operators a bit more info, hope it comes in handy.. in the army minimi gunners tend to use the opsvest more than the chestrig, and borrowing pockets from other guys to be able to carry more 200rnd drums. maybe you could even use teh chestrigs you made for teh KCT guys for some of the riflemen. a lot of equipment is self bought. the green nomex pilot gloves are provided by the DoD and are, like revision sawfly glases, manditory outside the wire. when on patrol almost every unit uses green "hatch" kneepads issued by the DoD too, most guys only use em on their right knee because kneepads are issued every pair for 2 soldiers :s

I know how they will turn off lights...:j: its not the same as "careless", if enemy is in the area the helo will not carry out the pre planned waypoints and do their own thing. -
great job, making it much more realistic and logical. really nice to see the army units I can indentify myself with :) hope I can answer more upcoming questions and pay my share to the community, I'll keep an eye on this topic in the future. thanks for honoring our fighting men with this addon.

ah didnt see that, my bad, I'll give it another go than :) for the orginization of a marine riflegroup: 1 groupcommander(sargeant) 1 secondgroupcommander (corporal) 2LMG pairs (every pair 1 Diemaco LMG gunner + 1 Diemaco C7a1 rifleman) 1GPMG pair(1 FM MAG gunner + 1 Diemaco C7a1 rifleman with extra 7.62mm ammo) total of 8 marines Snipers are with the support company as are the 81mm mortars and anti-tank assets.

nice work on the chestrig an opsvest over the bodyarmour! nobody really uses the straps on the bodyarmour to place their kit because you have to wear your BA all the time outside the wire but dont have to wear the chestrig when on gaurdduty or when in the gunner position of a vehicle. The marines I saw last time over there all got the warrior assault chestrigs (http://warriorassaultsystems.com/acatalog/Chest_Rigs.html) could have been bought by them selves though.. They wore green camo (old US woodland) even in the dasht. as for helmets nobody uses the helmet cover because they dont fit the rabitex, a saw a few with a neat build on NVG mount. the marines use the LOWA (LMG) instead of the minimi para (SAW) and for the GPMG the FN MAG (M240) all the deployed marines use the C8 with RIS, Grippod and Eclan/Aimpont comp4 + 3xmagnifiër the snipers have an coyote tan Accuracy AWM, the Barrett m90 and the HK417 with silencer. I must ad I am with the RNLArmy and not RNLMarines so I dont want to offend any "fishsticks" ;-) with wrong info. In your Dutch Army addon I had the problem that it replaced my USMC sniper and other units. I really loved the addon but this was enought for me to get rid of it. sorry man! hope this helps!

project reallity seems to have this working on (as i recall) all vehicles. Generation Kill Mod should have this working with their magnificent HMMWVs maybe some of their crew can give you a push in teh right direction. maybe im really naïve but I never understood why schooting your personal weapon from helos was possible in DF:BHD, joint operations and battlefield but not in Arma II hope you will get an answer soon! (or a patch making this possible ;) ) -

When syncing the UAV terminal to an vehicle you can access the UAV contols when standing besides this vehicle.. ..is there a way to access UAV control when riding inside the vehicle?? thank you! -

I would request more detailed and realistic C2(Command&Control) capabilities: -Radios dont have an unlimited range, commanders need to be in that range to give orders. -not every soldier has a radio, only company-,platoon-,squad-,team- and assistant teamleaders. making it a valuable piece of kit and essential to be picked up from fallen leaders to remain in contact with heigh command and other units. -have commanders with special C2 recources, vehicles, helicopters and planes like the AN/PRC-117F, LAV-25, UH-60C and AWACS. -give these vehicles realistic advantiges for example electronic warfare options, exclusive communications, optics and streaming UAV/satallite images. -give these vehicles realistic disadventiges for example no seating for passengers(only for C2 operators), less or no weaponary. -have a special C2 interface for these commanders when using these recources. -restrict (fire)support calls to C2 equipment operators. this request is realistic and supports the saying: "no comms, no war" C2 is an essential part of warfare, making your unit victorious when properly applied. losing your teams C2 will result in losing unit cohesion and behind enemy lines it may be neccecary to exfill in a SERE(Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape) style. -

Thank you for your quick reactions and pushing me in the right direction, as I am a total noob at scripting, but in the meanwhile an expert at triggers an waypoints ;) I tried somethings with the Eject1.sqs script written by Matt Rochelle. made a nice and fast infill, due to low downtime no pilots ware hurt by enemy fire. next time I will try more and ask less... thanks Matt Rochelle. for the script thanks Jakerod and Inkompetent for my first babysteps into the scipting world I hope this will be usefull for more people! -

Hello everyone, In my missions I often use ADuke's Helo pack and Cyborg11's Littlebirds pack. as you would already know the passengers are sitting on the outside of the helo. in real life this will give the advantige to quickly disembark on the landigzone. here begins my request: I cant get Arma II to disembark all the outside seats at once, all the AI soldiers wait to disembark one after one. is there any way to get all the seats to disambark at once or at least a lot faster? this would enhance reallity and cut down time on the ground for helo. Thank you.
