I stopped playing arma2 last year when i installed windows 7 and direct2drive.com removed my download version (support tells me I should have backed it up bs...) Does BIS plan to make Arma2 run on dx10 anytime soon? maybe it would help with the choppy programming. For example, look at gameplay flow in Just Cause 2 that recently came out that is also a very large enviroment, granted has far less texture detail. I want to buy Arma2 again, but only if patch 1.05 has significantly improved the gameplay.
I'm stilling waiting to be able to enter static weapons more easily if playing as a soldier without a AT, AA luncher. Can't enter the IGLA or AA pod without carrying a launcher
This is an example of gameplay that makes me believe it is still is an issue. I don't remember that being an issue specifically, but spawning inside buildings from the apc is good example.
