    I want say that latest beta patches(in latest few months) really improved AI, and I have the best results with ace,asr_ai and tpwc_ai now. No-one should say now that you can run in firefight 2m in front of enemy ai and he do nothing, they react almost instantly, and shoot at you.

    I highly recommend ChrisB's AI .pbos mix with ASR AI and newest beta patch, totally awesome experience, very long, realistic firefights(ammo is often problem) and AI is very effective in cqb now. All fps-thief in asr mod is ai rearming, if you disable it, you won't notice any performance drop caused by asr mod, glad to know this! :D

    really impressive, how you achieved such nice behavior? Because i can't make house-firing fight with ace,gl4 and slx. With gl4 enemy will garrison buildings, but when firefight starts, they just leave their house-positions and engage. I want some house to house fights :< Or at least soldiers shooting from windows, without using scripts.

    This is very awesome mod and i like it, but sadly i must say that it really hits performance, especially when there are many soldiers. I have 5fps less with ASR enabled at arma2 benchmark, and for my typical 15-25fps 5fps of difference is really noticable. Is there any chance to asr mod change only soldiers skills at mission start, and nothing else? (i mean that armed civilian will have really bad aim and have no chance vs usmc)- this is the feature i like the most ;)
  8. +1 ! Everyone talk about upgrading AI(i think it gets really better after few latest patches) and graphic effects, but what about the most important part of battles? Why it's so neglected, why noone want to answer about this important aspect, since OFP almost nothing changed. Why i think it is so important? Because whole result of battle depends on it. So what that I have M1A2 abrams, when it always destroyed after f.e. 3 hits from T-72?? And it even doesn't matter what part of my tank it hits, what is the worst thing.. I mean, what the fuck devs, we have 2012, games from '90 have better damage systems, you must do something with that! Sorry for little O/T.

  10. No- addons, units, from arma2 won't work in Iron Front, obviously, because of completly new damage system, and big announced changes in engine. It's obvious for me- you want progress? You won't have Arma 2 compability! And i'm happy about this.

  12. super, but with ace mod you can even now disable car shooting at his engine. The biggest problem is that bis devs don't show ANY interest in damage system.

    Can someone tell me in what pbo i can find tanks, for example M1a2, and all tank shells configurations?
  20. I really want to help, and i have time, but i have no idea about arma2 addons making/editing. If i know where i can find all this changable ACE2 data for tank armor and shells, i'll do my best. I know that i must unpbo addon files, but what files? I can't find any help about changing this armor values and damage..
  21. Sorry, i don't wanted to be rude :) I just get angry when my tiger is killed by weak guns hehehe. And i know about ace damage system, and i know it's not so easy to do this in arma's engine. But as we can see in ACE its possible. I wish your team succes with implementing this in mod. Peace :p
  22. There is new official website of iron front with new screenshots. It looks that they are going to add screenshots and news quite often. I hope it will be much more milsim than arcade shooter like battlefield etc.
  23. Because of hit(shit)-point damage system of course. M4a3 detroyed my Tiger II with about 3 shots in my front. Or just try to have fun commanding Tiger tank against ANY us tanks/guns. They will destroy you with anything after really short while. Im talking about armor penetration, baby! That's what this mod need. And faster small arms aiming. It's not realistic now. If you done this, it will be almost perfect, imho.
  24. Why you made tanks in this mod, when there is no sense to put them in any mission? extremely annoying...
  25. Rip31st can you say something more about yours armor penetration system? It >really<works? I mean, without hitpoints. And are there ricotchets, that i love? And is it take into account angle of hit? (its important). Im very curious, how it works. ;)
