Hello all, 1st post here, hope you folks can help.
I have connection issues when running windows 7, for example: when running windows 7 and playing on rp-mods server running CL_120 Ultimate, my ping is what i would call eratic at best, going from 90 to 400, making it un-playable for me.
I play the same server etc on win XP SP3 and i have 99% stable 66 66 66 ping.
I have used the same AV : Esset NOD 32 on both systems.
PC:
Asus Striker Extreme
Intel Q6600 2.4mhz
2 x 2gb OCZ 6400 SLi Edition
Nvidia GTX 260
Main : 150Gb WD Raptor
2 x Seagate 500gb discs
Seems to me there is something within windows 7 (tried both 32bit & 64bit) that is messing with my connection while playing ARMA 2.
I have spoken to plenty of people online who are using win 7 without issues, so this is pretty frustrating for me.
