    Is your vram detected correctly? (look in config file).

    When I set video memory in options to very high I get the same bug (LOD´s loading slow or not at all, setting it to default solves the problem :)

    I did tried that too and it was the same.

    But, I will make sure again once I get back home from work.

    Before I left home today i made a fresh install on another partition and it actually helped bait, but not completely.

    But then I installed the beta patch again (last time it didn't help) and at the 5 min I had to test it everything worked fine.

    I will be able to test it more and update in about 5 hours.

    Hey guys !

    I'm having a problem with the textures in game.

    It looks like they don't load or something.

    I tried to re-install the game and also play w\o any addons (i actually only use a sound mod ATM)

    Nothing helped.

    Does any one knows whats wrong?

    Hello guys!

    I plan to get a new graphic card this week, but not sure if getting a new one will really increase Arma performance.

    My current system is:

    Motherboard: ASUS P5QPL

    CPU: Intel Quad Core Q9505 @ 2.8ghz

    RAM: 4GB 800Mhz

    Graphic Card: NVIDIA 9500GT 512mb GDDR3

    OS: Windows 7 64bit

    My budget for a new graphic card is 250$

    Me again :)

    Was wondering if i get the HD5850, will it be "too good" for my system?

    Don't want to buy a card that my system can't take advantage of it, because in that case i might as well get the HD5770 and have same performance?...

    $250 isn't gonna get you a 5850 so I guess you're best off with an ati hd5770, you could consider a 5830 but they actually use more power then the 5850, meaning you have a bad chip. That would be ok if they were much cheaper as 5850's, but they aren't. They're also a lot slower.

    Lets say im getting the 5770, on what res \ settings i will be able to run and play smooth ?

    atm i play on 1024x768 with normal settings (AA\AF and posteffect are off)

    and the game looks kinda crap comparing to what i see in youtube and screenshots
