Hey Soronelite, have your units weapons been broken since the recent stable update? (I notice your using dev build but still wonder if you've had issues yet).

Never knew it was in 0.52, since I've never been in a situation where I had to use the pistol as a last option or in that sort of position. I assume the normal sitting one means, the open legged sitting position? Anyone else getting a "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.arifle_MX_Hamr_point_grip_F'" error? I'm guessing they've changed the class name of that rifle to something else... (I may be getting it as one of the units in a mod of mine is using that weapon). EDIT: That error has broken all primary weapons in my config, not sure whether it's all weapon classnames have been changed OR if it's a single rifle breaking the config. Oh and they've still got the ARCO/RCO listed as 12x Magnification :rolleyes:

I only played the original SOCOM that came with the headset for voice commands due to moving over to xbox, but damn that was an amazing game, probably one of the best games I've regarding gameplay, if ArmA 3 can get to half the standard I'd be happy. Well if you can find a laser designator, and a JDAM in the game right now then please tell me where to look, otherwise your point is invalid.

Also to add to my earlier post, I'm not saying BIS should drop US as a faction wholly, just to drop them as the protagonist faction, if they took a side role like there is speculation the Russians are taking then that would be good. Source? The Wiki and any official source I can find still has the description as miller being the main character, if it's true then I think it's sad, I was very much looking forward to the guerilla style (campaign) gameplay BIS were touting. As said by Harzach above, the current military ranking is basic and for hierarchy purposes, it can be argued that it still doesn't follow ranking protocol for any military group. It is basic.

Lmao.... This was a major factor in my decision to not go for supporters edition, as well as owning all the previous titles as well (who needs or wants two copies of everything). I like to have a choice on what DLC I purchase, and for the extra $ it cost for supporters there would have to be 4-7 DLC's to make the purchase worth it (priced at roughly $7 each for 7 DLC's), if that's the only reason you bought it.

It's understandable that he doesn't want people to profit from the multiple hours he spent creating his game-mode. The reason I was told it was there was because BIS haven't supported mod teams by released mod tools for A3. That said I don't think I've seen many youtube partners showcasing domination matches. Could be wrong but that's what I've been told. Edit: Can't seem to get my hands on 2.96.

Not sure if you've checked on map while playing a game. But if you go to make a marker and hit the up arrow, you can see pretty much every flag of the nations you mentioned above, with addition of others. And what I was saying wasn't Anti-US, if I hated the US it would mean I hated a quarter of my family. You have to be honest BIS has used US as the protagonist in every game they've deployed, they've let Russia go as the "bad guy" now, maybe it's time for another nation to take the mantle. Personally I wouldn't mind if it was Germany, since they're one of the most powerful forces within NATO and they are much closer to Greece then any of us bar Italy.

I'm playing a Domination in A3 right now, and it says it's by Xeno (obviously not), it also has a message at the start, saying you are not allowed to monetise any video's while playing domination, you are not allowed to live stream while playing domination.... lol what bullshit is that? It does have some features to set itself from others which is a stance indicator in top right of the game and the map is set at a single zoom level.
