No not at all, you should work at it until you get the unlocks, by that logic when EA decide to but a price on $ per bullet/magazine would you be happy. If they can do it for class/weapon unlocks they don't be surprised if they do this in the near future. I'm not anti-DICE just anti-EA since they have wrecked many great titles in the last two years or so, they are a multi-million pound organisation, they should be happy with making money of the initial product, instead they have to bleed dry the product for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Ten years from now, I doubt any of us will be gaming, when this happens.

Well, they've gone and done it. Put a price on buying unlocks from day one. http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/in-game-shortcut-purchases-come-to-battlefield-3/#tab_row /Greedy Bastards

    The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

I get this from time to time, often after playing for a while in dungeons. Its like a wall hack. I just save and restart the game where I left off to fix.

As a business point of view they have made a smart move, why let people make stuff and distribute it for free, when you can make mediocre stuff labelled as 'Destruction HD', 'Super Huge Never Seen Before Maps' for £10-20 each time. At the end of the day if they made mod tools available it would ruin EA's profit margins, and that's all they care about. Unfortunately.

    Assassins Creed 3

Me too! I would of preferred to of received them while AC:R was on 50% off sale though. Oh well I have the less then superior console version to tide me over till AC:3 :)

    Assassins Creed 3

This. The franchise would of been much better suited with an earlier time, say in france/spain or britain. Spanish armada would of suited an in-between time frame before moving onto the american revolution. Since desmond is from there, they would of had to visit this piece of history sooner or later. Me and I'm sure many others preffering later. 300 years since ezio and connor is too much maybe, though some would argue the time frame between altair and ezio is roughly the same. I can tell you this though. France will be a part of this (historically obvious) and they will be more the heroes of the time-period then the colonists (way to go ubisoft).

Still looking great mate, I just can't get over how 1:1 those roads look.

The bold parts can not be said in the same post. Like.. "I love it!! But change it to this!!!"

Yeah the L85 sounds great as it is. Did a little more research on the L115A3's actual sound, and found a couple of video's, the sound itself you probably cannot use but you get the idea of what it sounds like in real life. @1.58 - See what I mean with the meat and then the snap :) The snap is more to do with the echo obviously, but its one of the characteristics of the rifle/.338.I'm sure they'll all sound special upon release. ;)

    J.S.R.S. 1.5

Sounds are coming along nicely mate, if I could add something to it though it would be:- 1. The sound after the L110A2 has been fired (the echo), it sounds weird, is it like this in all places or just in areas enclosed? 2. The L115A3 (LRR), for me this weapon needs more meat and snap! :D It's hard to find a good sound sample for the L115A3, irrc the P:UKF team made the gun with a nice meaty sound for ArmA 2, obviously with a little work yours will be so much better :)

Even if that did it work, it would respawn everytime you came back. You need to use the creation kit, delete it and then make your esp plugin.

    Act of Valor (film)

So, has anybody seen it yet, a thread was made over at armaholic and it seems to have gone down well, compared to black hawk down by some.

Does anybody know where you can find a list of your subscribed mods on steam? I've gotten to the point where I have lost count on what I'm using, I played yesterday after a long break and have since enabled some visual mods/meshes etc and my game is looking how it should of in the first place. I know when you run the launcher the bottom right it synchronises the mods, showing they're names, isn't there a way we can have a list within the steam GUI with links to all mods currently subscribed to? Edit: Nevermind I found it.
  15. Alien Vs Predator 99, remember the first time I played it as a 10 year old with my father. Good times :D

    Mass Effect 3

I'll get it on hard copy if I can, never with origin, having one game on that is more then enough. £50 from gamersgate for a digital download == daylight robbery, £30 is the max I will pay for any pc game.

World’s Tiniest Chameleons Found in Madagascar

@08:07 are the ones DMarkwick was talking about. I think you can safely say they are the same size.

Wow, they are almost nano size, makes you think how they survive being trodden on. I bet they dont have a very long life-span.

I picked up volendrung off the rack, just to check its stats, I couldn't re-place it which annoyed me, had to go on the ground (not interested in two handed weapons). Check the surrounding area, first time I got to that shrine of orc armour etc it was all scattered around due to physics, the hammer may have rolled away. Or try typing this in console "player.additem 0002acd2 1", 0002acd2 is the formID for Volendrung it may work if it doesn't I'll try myself to find the editorID ingame. Note if it does work it will add volendrung in your inventory. So make sure you have some free space to carry it. You can read more on volendrung's stats here. @ArmAriffic Thanks I'll try that.

It sucks that they don't even have a progress bar, how are we supposed to know how much has been downloaded/time to go etc, ah well it's not as if any of the mods on there can't be acquired somewhere else. @jhoson14 I prefer modsaholic :p

    The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

Is it just me or is the downloading process for steam workshop utterly crap? I've had the launcher window open for the best part of an hour now for a 40mb file which it says is "Downloading mod 1 of 1: "Mods Name"..." with not so much as a progress bar. If I was downloading from nexus or modsaholic I would have that file within 30 seconds.

    Near death experiences/intense situations.

A few years ago when me and a couple of friends were travelling home late at night from another friends house, on a street in the countryside. We were listening to a benny banassi mix at full volume with the sub woofer shaking the car, which was an old '88 VW Golf, for some reason my mate decides to pull the handbrake at 70mph not knowing we were going that fast, we subsequently spun around roughly 3-4 times, we ended up hitting the other side of the road facing the opposite way, hitting the curb which destroyed the rear nearside wheel. Thank god the car has a wide wheelbase and there was no oncoming traffic or I wouldn't be here today. It was an adrenaline rush, but also frightening at the same time, the fact I had to change the wheel after the incident was annoying enough :D What I learned? Never listen to benny banassi late at night on a country road with zero light sources. :p
