  1. While testing out your MMA_script_suite.utes I found that the javelin does not work. I Get the error "mando_missileattacker.sqf NULL unit provided" any ideas? Edit: another test mission issue is that I am getting a "Reasource Title mandosystems not found" prompt when mando systems tries to boot up. Again, any ideas? :P
  2. Alternatively, I tink it's SLX mod that adds the "silent tank commands" so that if you are the gunner, you can send orders to your driver so seamlessly that it feels liek you are doing what you propose, providing you're in the gunner seat.

    Balance? So tell me' date=' why can an mi-8 detect a tank at several km distance while a Mi24 can barely see it at 800m? Also, if it is for balance, why is the AH1 not similarly afflicted? I can see what you mean here.

    Yeah pretty much how I feel. On my go to server trying to get everyone to get mods and such all lined up with even yoma would we like hearding kittens. If it's all in the one map, then they jsut gotta wait a little while longer and it's all good in the hood. Bandwidth is not a problem as it is hosted by an ISP. Edit: and if it is not too much trouble why not release anyway? Some people would rather use the mod, sxome would rather have integrated map.

You modders, respect you all:yay: Edit: Does not really seem to cause balance issues, Ai will only shoot and ahve a cahnge to hit at about 130 and below airspeed, higher than that they won't shoot or will miss. Also, the quantity of RPG's needed to brign down a chopper is almost absurd. Will still use this however as a way to punish foolish chopper pilots who hover over a hot area haha.

  7. Ah thanks, I might give your server a go. Howver I am in australia so i'm guessing i'm gonna be lagging like hell :/ Still, my main problem is that there are a multitute of small mods with various fixes. Like the Mi24 one i mentioned, the ASR grenadier fix, RPG7 sight mods, stuff like that.
  8. I currently play on an Arma2 server which allows it's users to use any mod they want except for ones that cause problems if not everyone has it. I find that this server has no more worse stabillity or hacking issues than a strict vanilla server. My questions is, are there any servers for OA or CO like this? I hate not being able to use even the simple thigns like CSM, ZuesAi, INKO and other such small mods that fix those little niggles to make the game so much better. Or thigns like ricmi24 which fixes the terrible Mi24 lock range.

    That's because of the terrible (700m or below) lock range of the Mi24. Get the ricmi24 fix and suddenly the Ataka can start hitting well. Hell, possibly include the ricmi24 fix with this if possible? Edit: hell, while i'm still dreaming if mando missile is integrated into it all missile balance issues are fixed completely.

    Is the balancing still the original benny system for KA? Repalces VIKHRs with 2 sets of 8 Hellfires? If so could you replace this with a system that repalces the VIKHRs with Atka-V's for more rooski goodness in a later version? I feel almost insulted using American Missiles on a Russian chopper...

    Ok, good info. How many zones does zarga have? I'd reccomend having plenty of one or two outpost sized points, this would encourage heavy infantry fighting block by block, Stalingrad style :P

    Works very well and from my regular PvP server there's quite a bit of intrest in this mod! A bug that I have found is that after you die in Warfare BE, you can no longer access the "satchels" menu. So you can place down satchels but cannot set them off or set timers. However another player can touch them off by using the appropriate channel. Edit: Rebuying satchels does not appear to fix this. Also, should this be used in a PvP enviroment, would both sides share both channel sets? Eg, If a blufor puts down a Ch2 bomb, a redfor could set it off by triggering Ch2?

    Good update! I now no longer have the jitterbugs, The new problem is that of zeroing. Since my screen is below the cam i have to look down my nose otherwise it thinks i want to look down, this also makes looking up impossible as i have to tilt my head to the point i can't see the screen.
  18. Ah excellent! I'll be paying close attention to your progress. Just for clarification, where I said scanrange I mean the box along the top of the screen with the dots in it to indicate targets.
  19. Hi. It's been a long known issue that the Mi24 has a scanrange of about 1km which is lower than even the transport version of the Mi8. For an attack helicopter this is crippling. So as a stopgap measure I humbly ask that a modder creates a fix so those of us who love our crocodiles can do so properly!

  21. Yeah i've noticed this too. The will shoulder thw eapon and ahve it aimed to the side of the target by a few degrees and slowly rotate towards it. In some cases that will complete this cycle several times before actually firing. Still better than not being able to hit anything at all :P

    Found a bug for the AI gunners in the BMP2/3 and BTR90. 1. Repro steps: Try to get a gunner to target a helicopter using the eastbloc 30mm AutoCannons mounted on BMP2/3 and BTR90. 2. Results seen: what is the bug Any of the East block 30mm autocannon for the BMP2/3 or BTR90 will not be used by ai against enemy helicopters or air. The Ai will still engage however with the PKT. In same cases it is possible to get the AI to target the chopper while the player uses manual fire to launch an ATGM or fire the 100mm gun on the BMP3. For comparison, the AI gunner in the LAV25 will use the cannon to attack air targets without issue. 3. Desired results: how should it behave once the bug is fixed Gunner should engage air threats with 30mm gun instead of PKT. http://dev-heaven.net/issues/10944

    It's also hilarious when you can set an ambush on a Humvee collum because the lead player vehicle was blaring away on his horn and tipped you off.
