  2. Hello all! First I would like to thank you for your help in advance, it really does mean a lot. This is what I want (To make it less confusing): Players walk into a town, a trigger placed over the town (Which I will call A) is activated by the players and in-turn it activates another trigger (B, Which has a smaller radius but is inside A). Picture for help Trigger B checks to see if there are BLUFOR units within it's radius. If there ARE BLUFOR units within the radius of B it will do nothing. If there ARE NOT BLUFOR units within the radius of B it will execute a script. Reason for this: I want A to activate B so when the players enter a certain area the enemy will spawn via script-instead of just spawning the AI when the players are not even close. I've been trying to tinker with this idea but I can't seem to get it right...can anyone help me? Thank you very much, Dominic
  3. Hello! I am having a very strange issue with our server that I can't pin down sadly... I would appreicate any help! Our server is currently running Combined OPs, but every time we try to load up certain missions it just goes to WAIT FOR HOST and then straight back to the lobby screen. This is very annoying! And the only message we get is the follow: Operation Set'N'Match read from blank (But is what the server says for every mission loaded) Any help would be muchly appreciated!

    Devil Dog I'm not sure it's a sound issue... This happens to our server as well. Every time an enemy aircraft crashes and exploded the server = DEAD

    We believe it is a corrupted file like you suggested but we have no clue which .PBO it might be. (Maybe Air1-3?) ANY mission that has an MI-8 or MI-17 crashes the server when it dies... I read somewhere that they made a lot of changes to the MI-8's and MI-17's so maybe Bohemia messed something up there. And if that error transfered over to steam-I doubt the fix will be coming out shortly. Thank you for your time, Dominic EDIT: We changed the MI-8's and MI-17's back to the normal ArmA 2 MI's instead of the Takistani ones...will report back if it works
  8. Hello everyone! We have a new issue with our lovely server now... Ever since the update, whenever we bring down a helicopter with an AA missile it crashes the server. List of events are as follows: 1) AI or Players lock onto air with Stinger. 2) Players open fire and hit the aircraft 3)The aircraft (In this case an MI-8 or MI-24) crash and then shortly after causes the server to crash. 4) Shooting friendly MI-8's or MI-24's does not break the server... 5) This happens on ANY Domination! ...Any ideas? Also the .rpt does not find anything of interest... would really love some help!

Running mods through steam is a pain to say the least...What I had to do to get them to work was put the addons under ArmA2 AND under Operation Arrowheads Expansion folder and then I had to "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" for both A2 and OA to run the addon before it would recognize it. Steam does not like A2

    Installing a combined OPs server is annoying through steam...but not too difficult. But this new bug is destroying our server. We arn't very happy with this new update...

CAMisc_fix_Str requires addon CAStructuresHouse_A_Office01 I get that error every time I try to start up our server...Now this confuses me beacuse I've triple checked every addon....The server has all that it needs! It also runs just fine! What .pbo does CAMisc_fix_Str fall under and which .pbo does CAStructuresHouse_A_Office01 fall under? Where can we get the Office one to replace it on our server? Thank you for your help!

    Thank you very much...but the server was installed using the files off of steam. So are you suggesting we reinstall A2 onto the server? Could you explain this more please? How would reinstalling it fix it. Also, what PBOs would I have to replace to get the server up-to-par again? We can simply replace them with another clients PBOs.

    Well to install a server from steam you have to follow a certrain order of steps. If you want to install combined OPs you have to copy the OA addons over the A2 addons and then you have to bring the "COMMON" folder over. So that's why.

    Yes! Thank you for your help. It is very appreciated! Apparently, the "missing addons" list goes on and on. Now we are getting "CAtracked2_AAV" is missing...even though it is there. I have a feeling that OA and A2 are not agreeing somewhere... I wish it would just give us an entire list of the "missing" addons instead of this one by one BS >:S Edit: We believe its the "common" folder between OA and A2. We don't think Bohemia updated the configs or something for the common folder so technically they are a version behind...You gotta go back into A2 and pull the files out and replace them sadly. To fix our CombinedOPs server we had to replace all the "common" files with the A2 files and put them in the addons folder as well. After that...all worked fine!!

We just moved the files from one computer to the other. This is just a vanilla combined OPS server. EDIT: Moving over those two files worked! It appears not everything installed properly... Now we are getting "Warefare2Vehicles" requires addon "CAWheeled2_Kamaz" EDIT2: Okay we are reinstalling the files 1 by 1...only a few didn't copy over correctly (Corrupted?)

  21. Hello all, I got a mission where the player has a side objective. It goes as follows. 1) Players talks to soldier who tells them where a guy they have to rescue is. 2) Players find guy and recruit him into their group 3) Players bring back guy and 2 vehicles are unlocked for them. 4)The "Talk" action gets removed on the soldier. And the rescued guy gets removed from the players group. And the rescued guys action to recruit him gets removed too. This is what I'm having trouble with.     Yeah, I think you can simulate this with an absurd long infection time. Or I believe there is a command you can constantly run on the players to set their infection status to 0
