  1. I absolutely agree with that view GepardenK.

    I remember.

The crew of the carrier only supposedly has a skeleton guard of human troopers among them. Therefore most of the troops used in combat, if not all of them, are combat droids. If they too can be 'controlled from the bridge' like the vehicles in the classic game, they'll safely be able to integrate that into the game without ruining the Carrier Command experience.

    Open World?

Open world is true to the original game. It's definitely the key way to go for a game like this.
  4. Let's hope you're right.
  5. One thing I've noticed on screenshots is that there's infantry now. It's going to be difficult for the developers to make believable AI and behavior for human infantry. They'll need all the attributes and animations worthy of AAA first-person shooters. Cover-mechanics and so forth. This will be a big project if they plan on doing it properly.

    I remember.

This is a huge title. I have plenty of memories from the old Carrier Command. ARMA/ARMA2 and such games are filled with bugs and seem to lack play-testing. One of my greatest concerns is that this game, although with great graphics and ideas, will turn out broken. Do not let us down please. Take your time developing the game.

    Mulitplayer planned?

This is excellent. Just look how Napoleon: Total War will include cooperative multi-player in their campaign. It is a very sought after mode. Fans have yearned for it for years. I hope the developers of this game understand that as well. Any self-respecting strategy game, roaming real-time, turn-based or otherwise, should include a cooperative mode. As a general notice: Please don't release anything before it is thoroughly play-tested. :)
