This is very cool. Lotsa custom AR's but not many custom AK's. If you're looking after realism, the CQBR stock wouldn't fit on it in real-life due to it not having a buffer tube. Other things that would make it look cooler would be retexing the wooden parts to black polymer and putting that "waffle" PMAG look on the magazine. -

Hi, I'd like to make it so that an officer carries a wounded civ after a certain time... I've seen the animations used but the problem is there are two separate ones and even more for pickup, drop-off etc. So how can I script a pick-up, carry, and drop off?

If you did rural America you could easily use something from vanilla arma e.g. the deciduous forests. Also you could use the evergreens and similar terrain for U.S. forests. (Kinda off topic)

No it's not, it that thing had three props instead of two and was larger. It must be some sort of transport/recon plane that is still in use by countries such as Peru, which still utilizes prop planes. -

OK, apparently all you have to do is use the command: playSound "soundname" within a trigger or unit (could also use game logic) I've looked around for sound names but can't find any example for explosion. Also you may want to use this (it is a nuke after all) http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/soundVolume -
Could someone please make a civilian paint job for the ACE (or better yet in the future, OA) Little bird? Something either very plain (blue or some solid fill) or MEDEVAC?

Sorry, I didn't realize we were trying to base the campaign off of a mod or already made script of some sort. I thought this was ideas for any campaign in general? How about a pilot gets shot down in the middle of enemy territory and needs to somehow find his way to a Sat phone to call for rescue, or escape and evade until he somehow crosses the border? That would be pretty sweet. He would also need to try to find a civilian loyal to chernarus to harbor him or help him out somehow! -

What would be awesome would be a fully to-scale representation of an area, no matter how small. You could use google street view and stuff to get it right XD That would be very cool. -

Good point, but it would still definitely be do-able! I'm surprised it's never really been done, given the large amount of air-power supplied with vanilla arma. -
We just answered this... yes MG's are for suppressive fire and don't need to be all that accurate... but a red dot sight will outdo the ironsights by far on any weapon because you have less tunnel vision and don't need to line up the sights. In Iraq and Afghanistan the US uses M249s and M60 paras which have ACOGs on them or other magnification scopes.

I'm trying to create a mission where a character talks to another character through direct chat and then gets into a vehicle. What I'm confused about is how I would go about this, would it use the "talk" waypoint? Or should I use a trigger. I'd like not to use the "bottom" effect on the trigger but rather have the character talk in direct chat. Also, does anyone know how I can set the "identity" of the character? (e.g., (Ed Winters): This is sparta!) Thanks!

It's the \ key :) may be different for you for some reason, check Options>Controls> then look for "salute".

How about an airsoft/paintball mod where you have standard guns (all of them) except when you fire there's no recoil effect and there is just the sound of a motor. And when you hit somebody they just sit down instead of die (they can get up whenever they want to). It would be great for training in Squads.
