  1. ""melteme" is apparently the name of a wind: ""the bad tempered one": Northerly wind in the Aegean.", source: http://windlegends.org/windnames.htm"

    ^

    From the first page.

Then PurePassion replied to this post:

    How do u know?!?!?!?!?!??!

    With:

Like a northernly wind that smells like adventure.... or something similar to that, it seems the post was deleted.

Our favorite island Lemnos/Lemnos/Altis is to the north of Stratis. And there is a radar station on Stratis.

  2. So Pure's forum location has been changing...

    First it was: Spctrm_tst=1

    Now it's: Rcvr_bndwth_tst=1

I think they both have something to do with EMI or Electromagnetic interference... why?

    Because of this: http://www.ieee.li/pdf/essay/receiver_v_sa.pdf

That's what I found after some googling.

    Also this:

For those of you working on the console:

Also, Pure, who is obviously in on this, pointed out this post by me:

Hostname for console is Molan Lave:

    But now it has changed:

  3. Last time as per above year 2011 Summer ARG before ArmA III reveal, I think it took 1 month to materialise, but we knew 1-2 weeks into ARG what it was all about. :cc: I'll find the thread, sec.

    HERE! -- http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?118336-ArmA-2-site-hacked&highlight=arma+hacked+arg

It's 741 pages, but you just have to read it. :cc:

    Here's the Q&A after the 2011 ARG had finished - http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?119602-Pre-announcement-ARG-answers-to-questions-discussion&highlight=arma+arg

A very good read indeed. That was a lot of fun.

We could use another wiki for this ARG also, it worked very well last time.

  4. Check out this link, ties some things in. It can be found here: http://altis-quest.com/?feed=rss2

    RV4 = Real virtuality 4

    A3 = Arma 3

(for those who are not up to date)

    http://altisquest.rv4a3.org/?p=37

All the article links have been set to this format within the .rss code.

Maybe you should just look up who JerryHopper is and what he has done before. :)

Yeah, it's good to know what you are talking about before you post, especially if you are new to the community. No offense, just saying though.

  5. Okay on this photo: http://puu.sh/27OIj

There is a line where it says MK26-RPC

MK26, is different from M26, the radar station.

If Mk stands for mark as it traditionally does, two things come to mind. The varient of the Spitfire and the missile launch system used on US ships. Neither seem relevent.

RPC stands for remote procedure call?

I don't think the ftp from the community hosting site ofpr.info is important for this matter ;)

    Agreed

  6. I'm not exactly sure why that would happen. This wasn't an issue in past versions of DZS? Did it only start in the latest betas and not in version 1.25? You can email me at craigvandergalien@gmail.com

I have a problem with the helicopter escape objective. When the mission finishes loading it immediately says congratulations and ends.

    I'll look into it, thanks.
