    MRLEGEND i have a similiar problem, can you post your value in config file?

    This is my:

    localVRAM=387831808;

    nonlocalVRAM=387831808;

    With this value (driver 10.6, 10.7, 10.8) the problem is present.

    What driver you use? With 10.4 and 10.5 i have no problem.

    I don't even know where to go to find that information.

    I believe I am currently using 10.3, I'm scared to update drivers for fear that I may trade one problem in for another...worse problem.

    Thank you I'll look into updating to 10.5

    I play on everything very high settings, AA normal, 1920x1080, view distance is about 3km.

    My specs, i7-950, hd5970, 6gb ddr3, arma is installed on an 80gb intel ssd.

    Periodically, there are some objects that completely fail to load up to full level detail. I was wondering is this common? Is there a trick to fix it or prevent it from happening?

    examples:

    @ 4:16 the hummer looks like a cardboard box

    I found that restarting the game usually clears it up, but I wanted to check with you guys to see if there was anything better I could do.

    hey I'm happy they made this game..if you check there is absolutely nothing in this world like it. It is an ambitious project by a small firm...

    if this were done by EA or Activision..then hell yeah, they have the money to have 100 testers playing night and day...they have 500 people at their studios.

    A good game is simply a game is one that ouweighs it's flaws in pure fun.

    I only got to play with my clan for a few minutes yesterday, but as we drove down the street in a Humvee through a middle eastern town, I was wowed again...

    Yeah, I heard that same thing when I called a local GameStop store.

    I finally cancelled both of my A2:AO orders at GameStop and placed the orders at GoGamer.com. One of them has already shipped.

    they've been jerking me around too..typical:j:

    they keep telling me to try back tomorrow...maybe it will be here tomorrow...

    the bum said he already had one copy on order, I reserved it and he's probably got it at home. He did tell me to try back yesterday, and he took off yesterday...dirty dog:mad:

    Apparently you cant buy Operation Arrowhead in stores in Sweden so i bought it from sprocket even though i don't like buying games online.

    I was in town today and asked if they had it in the store:

    Game: Lol wut? Whats that? Nope we wont be selling it.

    Corestore: You said what? Ooh... Seems like we wont get it for about 2 weeks.

    GameStop: How do you spell that? Nope. Next week maybe.

    yeah it's ashame a phenominal game like this can stay under the radar like this.

    Perhaps it's a good thing, because I wouldn't want them to change under pressure from the casual audience...money talks!

    ok, got mine, installed and played half the tutorials...

    everyone said gamestop wouldnt have boxed copies, they told me on the phone the would have OA... they assured me this yesterday before i made a 25 mile drive to get it, i called today to make sure it was in and they said yes... i drove there and it was the combined box, not the standalone i was told... AND THEY HAD ONLY ORDERED ONE DAM COPY... so i bought the thing even though i already had arma 2... nice thing is the combined version is 2 seperate discs with 2 seperate install keys... all i did is pop in the OA disc and go....

    so dont count on gamestop being supplied... they might as well call it console stop as the just dont do diddly for pc anymore...

    the only problem im having is the boxed version is 1.50, but i see 1.51, 1.52 but i cant connect to any of em...

    THis is all I wanted to hear-->2 discs. My GameStop said the same thing and I should be picking it up today. It's nice to know the clerk knew what he was talking about for once...

    Has anyone order from gamestop US? It still says pre-order 6/29/10. I look on amozon and it says the game is ready for order, and it will be ship by wednesday.

    I pre ordered in store, and he said it should be there tomorrow.

    He said he only ordered one copy prior to me coming in to reserve it so it is definately on its way

    hopefully lol

    but I'm trying to find out if I will have any trouble installing it seeing as though I already have ARMA2..if someone could tell me combined operations is a two dvd set or...that it already detects ARMA2 and skips that install.

    yeah it's an extra 10 bucks, but I don't want to wait mid july for just the expansion pack

    Is there anybody out there who can tell me if there are two seperate discs in the ARMA 2: Combined Operations package?

    I obviously don't need ARMA2, but the only way I can get it this week is to buy the combined operations pak.

    I don't want to have to reinstall everything just for the expansion
