Myke;1793890']Since ArmA 2/OA isn't meant to be played on Linux/Wine' date=' the non-functionality can't be considered as bug.

And it is not about "right or wrong", it is about worth or not. Although i would welcome a OpenGL/Linux variant, there are other more important things to fix/add.[/quote']

    i know that.

my hope is just that wine/codewavers fix that

i just ad a bug report to the amd driver dev's :

  2. Well, the menu is so far the only thing that´s correct in your screenshot:eek:

watch the image it isn't windows and it isn't direct X ;-)

wine translate arma2 into Open-GL and makes it compatible to Linux.

the upgrade from 1.05 to 1.07 shows me Arma2 1.07 fixes some 'bugs'

    means wine isn't always wrong.

It seems like a compatibility issue with wines handling of the drivers. Unfortunately like most games, arma 2 isn't fully supported by wine or any Linux based API, but if you mention it on the wine forums you may get a fix for it

arma2 is just not supportet because of this bug:

    http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21253

and upgrade from 1.05 to 1.07 shows me its a arma2 bug.

and yes they fixed a lot of arma2 'bug's in the past:
