yeah i like the mod, i think it adds a lot of immersion but is there anyway you could make it less of a performance hit because it really brings my framerate down. but i dont know anything about modding so if its not possible dont worry. But i really like the way they use houses as cover and go up on roofs. also it seems like the scripting makes the find paths better when your going through built up areas.

Yeah a campaign would be sick. You could use a load of the voice acting from the show. All of it looks awesome so far, are you going to include the units in desert and in woodland?

just updated to the latest version but it keeps saying missing file. 'acex_Men_Usarmy' needs the file 'acex_T_men_USarmy' or something very similar. i think its the textures for it because i went into the armoury and clicked one of the US army units and he shows up but he is shining silver or something lol. anyone else have this prob or know how to resolve it?

i downloaded caa1 recently and have noticed that allowing this mod to run wont let me save and revert to games. it kicks me out of the game says it cant load saved data and closes the program. Its quite annoying since i reallly like the content :/.

hi, everytime i try to revert to a saved game it tears me off the game and says "cannot load ':C\users\david\Documents\arma2\saved\ca\missions\campaigns\continue.arma2save' i tried uninstalling the game which didnt work. So any ideas?:confused:

sorry if its been said already but i'd like to see an ingame option where your ai squad stick in formation tightly. with the set up now they seem to get left far behind sometimes when im jogging or they dont come because they're in combat mode. also a better convoy mode and formation flying would be cool. :)

If you have the ace sound mod installed does this one still work or do i need to remove ACE_SM from my target line?

Just downloaded it, its pretty damn awesome but is it compatible with JTD fire and smoke and warfxparticles or does it just replace them even if they're in you're target line aswell?

hey i was just wondering its kind of ace related but im trying to install certain mods by using the modfolder method which has worked on most of them. but im having trouble with 1 or two of them and i dont know why because when i type them into the target line and press apply it doesnt say its an invalid path or anything but when i get in game its not there??? lol sorry if this is a little off topic but would be grateful for help. but also a more ace related question, im trying to update using the console version but it says "mod is tagged 'skip' in the configuration file. skipping......" how do i get it to check properly?

ok ive got all the files both the console version and the GUI version want to download but when i click the shortcut play arma2 with @ace;@acex..........
It keeps saying that there is a userconfig file missing this 1 to be exact "include file userconfig\ace\ace_clientside_config.hpp not found" what is this and how do i solve it? any help would be appreciated. :)

Thanks JW you've been alot of help but it seems i had a lot of files missing or something because i clicked on the console version of six updater and its downloading many files again. lol. however it cant seem to download acex because it gets stuck on the first file ace_bink_us_acu.pbo because its quite big and the connection is so slow that it keeps timing out before it can download it all any suggestions because im pretty sure thats not the only file that should be in the acex folder lol. And tbh i don't know why its going so slow because if im downloading off somewhere like armaholic its normally quite fast:/.

alright i thought it was that but what will the link be because there are only two applications in there and they are "arma 2" and "arma 2 server" are either of these it?

I think ACE/Six updater has made a link inside you arma directory which you can load arma with ACE :)ok and at the risk of sounding stupid lol where is my arma 2 directory? lol :o

Ok six updater has finally downloaded everything from the starting group mean ace, acex, acex pla, acex sm and cba. But now how do i get them to work? if tis a case of just starting the game it hasnt worked. And also if you do have to do something please explain it to me like im an idiot because im not great at computer things or installing mods. :)

Ok ive got six updater working i think but ihave two questions.
1. Its downloading now but every so often it will say "connection unexpectedly closed" and then it goes through a few procedures and starts downloading again. Does this happen normally?
2. And if not will it affect the downloaded files?

ive just downloaded six updater and installed and i followed the video showing you how to do it exactly but i always get this message when i click execute in the six updater main index once all the options are the same as on the video.
It says "The program cant start because cyggcc_s-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
Ite first off i have no idea what this means but all the same i reinstalled the six updater but it just happened again so i have no idea. Help would be much appreciated.

Anything you have set up in your profile such as tactical glasses will overwrite anything that is on the soldier's face.yeah i've taken off any headgear you can add in your player profile and it still doesn't work, but also i have alot of taliban that are wearing jogging suits lol do all the units work in armoury mode?

hi i just downloaded this mod and was wondering whether the taliban characters and the terrorist characters were meant to look like russians in jumpsuits or is it just mine? because the pictures on the download show what i think is a more suitable version of them lol. Also i seem to be missing quite a bit of headgear like the gas mask, stangely though when installing if i click "try soldier (gas mask)" it goes to the viewing mode and the mask is there but when i actually go to control him the mask dissappears from his face btw im tryin to play this in armoury and im not sure it makes a difference in this mode but ive removed and headgear off my profile but they still dont appear.....
Any suggestions?

i think after the last two updates ACE has started to make my game crash when someone is shot or is about to be shot. i think it might be a blood problem or something but i do run other mods with it that have been fine up until now and also the problem stopped when i removed ace from my used addons. any suggestions?
