    YES!!! They should definitely make soldier to be able to freely move inside vehicles such as Chinook and make Russian Mi-8 or Mi-17 to have their back door open. So they serve as a Russian Chinook :D

    My thoughts are that BI will probably put Navy Seals to do the stealth operations underwater against Russians and not put any Spetsnaz units to do the same against US submarines or ships. Probably on every 5 US vehicles added in the game, they will put 1 Russian. See Russians have 2 attack planes in ArmA 2 and the USMC has 4 which 2 of them are harriers 1 with LGB 1 normal and have a C130 plane. The Russians just got Su-34 and Su-25. Please BI focus more on the Russian side as well.

    My wish is that BI stops doing the same lame crap like all the other games which is making the Russian the bad guys. Make a Russian campaign and more Russian scenario missions. You mostly focus on the US side making them the "world peacekeepers". This is a cliche, give us a Russian uniform, a Russian weapon and leave the rest to us. I'm not saying make the Americans bad, but don't just do it like you did before in OFP (Red Hammer) where 80% of the Soviet campaign you kill Russians. Make both US and Russian campaign. Thank you.

I wanted to know how can I make a planed that was spawned with the http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BIS_fnc_spawnVehicle to fly in a specific height using flyInHeight command and how can I add a waypoint to him by using map clicking. Since it's a spawned AI I can't give it a name and I don't know how to add waypoints with map clicking. Thanks!!! :bounce3: I am playing ArmA 2 not ArmA 2 OA
  7. It's OK. I changed it's name to Bomber. All I need now is to make him somehow fly with limited speed. When he enters the triggers not all activate. I put like 8 triggers with the carpet.sqf script and only 3-4 work. As I said I copy-pasted them which means I couldn't have typed something wrong. Since the first trigger works.   8. Sorry for the quotes lol :o the plane does not need to engage enemies. I tested it now and it worked fine. I used game logic for waypoint without map clicking because this makes him pass over the target exactly. Is there a way to set his speed to limited since he flies too fast and not all the triggers activate. I don't know why I copy-pasted them. How can I make him fly with limited speed? Thanks:yay:
  9. My problem with spawning is solved but I made a new posts about how to make waypoints for the spawned units. This was solved too except that the plane has no name which means I can't activate the script you gave me from the trigger. :mad:
  10. Hi guys. I downloaded the script which makes planes do carpet bombing. To make the bombs fall you must click on the action called "Bombs away!" on the action menu. I just wanted to know how can I make an AI use this action when it enters a trigger. I tried with Plane action ["Bombs away!" Plane] but it did not work. I checked the action list of ArmA 2 and it did not help me. Thanks.

Unfortunately the helicopter ran away. I create a game logic and name it SpawnPos, then type in a trigger activated by radio alpha: [getPos SpawnPos, 180, "BMP3", EAST] call bis_fnc_spawnvehicle Nothing happens. Tried with the link that Kylania gave me: _vec_array = [markerPos "some_marker", random 360, "A10", west] call BIS_fnc_spawnVehicle; I created a marker named some_marker but again nothing appeared. And I spawned east or west soldier with 0% for the bmp 3 and the A10. Nothing goes how it should. Sorry, this is my first mission in ArmA 2, I am new to the game and to the editor. :(
  16. Actually I am using the Wings of Russia mod which adds 3 Russian planes to the game. My goal was to put myself as a Russian soldier in Novy Sobor (Chernarus) and hold the USMC as long as we can. When all people from my squad die, the Russian plane comes and bombs :eek: BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! What I did is I made the plane go around waypoints using the cycle waypoint and used ({alive _x} count units mygroup) == 1 on a trigger with type switch which makes the plane stop his dumb patroling and head to Novy Sobor. Unfortunately he doesn't follow the waypoint exactly and bombs behind the enemy lol. Also it takes him a loooooooooooooooot of time to come. Before Novy Sobor I put like 10 triggers that you used for the C130J to bomb 1 after another so he drops lots of bombs, unfortunately misses lol. My problem is that he comes really late and misses the target. :butbut::butbut: Thanks.

  19. My bigger problem is that we actually hold the enemy and drive them back lol. And I don't know how to spawn vehicles.
