Hey,
I am unable to install v1.3 of TNoIR on Windows 7 64bit.
It gives me the following error message during install
An error occured during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC80.DebugCRT,publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="wind32",version="8.0.50727.762",processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
Weirdly enough version 1.0 and the first update 20100716 worked just fine

And ONE year later we're pretty much in the same situation in OA. It seems that you are supposed to be able to save at any point in the OA COOP Campaign but it does not seem to work at all and no matter which saves you choose to revert to the game keeps reverting you back to the last Autosave.I agree the Coop saving feature is a real mess. However we we're finally able to complete both campaigns and I have found a couple things to remedy the saving issue.
- Alt-Tab and backup your campaign saves directory frequently

When you want to load and it loads the autosave, just delete the particular campaign.continue and roles files
- If it still loads a different save state, delete that as well (check the properties of the files for modified date)
- In some missions where you spawn in a videosequence or helicopter the second player will spawn somewhere on the map, in this case just start the game with one player and let the second join later (when the sequence is over)
- If the game crashes when the second player enters, he should reboot his PC, also turning off Xfire helped
- If a player is experiencing issues like not being healed by AI, having the wrong weapons, additional team members missing upon joining, crashes when driving vehicles --> you can be pretty sure that this savestate will be messed up badly
I know is annoying to need to do this, but it gets you through the campaign and they are just amazing with other players.

BI please fix this properly :bounce3:

How does one disable the leaning entirely? I've turned off the Z axis to get rid of the zooming, but the leaning is truly annoying as well lol.I just set the sensitivity for x to 0.
BTW you can safely set Roll and Y Sensitivity to 0 as well, since they aren't even used in ArmA2. Apart from Pitch and Yaw only X and Z are used (Z is useless in my opinion because who leans inward to zoom in).

Wow this program works amazingly well and you dont need anything attached to your headset. I think it works better than my homemade FreeTrack Clip (its not a 100% vertical so FreeTrack screws up). Thanks for making this :notworthy:
it would be good to have a sliding bar for each axis for dead zone. cause i noticed with arma 2 i look left and right and i lean as well as zoom. that would be good to have.I would second this, because right now the Translational motion in x-direction is unusable in ArmA2 (you almost always lean left/right as soon as you look in that direction).
Another issue I experience is that the program seems to slow down after a while (tracking not as responsive as when you first start it). What I'm currently doing is just alt-tab and switch the API off and on again.
Keep up the great work :D

Hey,
we're also having issues with saving/loading in multiplayer (1st real mission).
My friend hosts a game: we're both able to join and everything works fine, except for loading. Whenever he uses revert it just restarts the mission over again.
When I host a game: sometimes when he joins, he's not being spawned in the chopper and can only look at the map, other times he is in there but doesnt have nightvision and cant hear the other guys talk.
However for me saving works but reverting back to the state just loads the automatic save you get when you close the game.

Yes I did search the interwebs, however the solutions provided there did not work out for me. It seems that since Windows 7 has VS2005 already included from the get-go any application that will just ignore that and install over it can cause corruption of these files. I think this happened at some point with my OS, but I will have to reformat and clean everything up in January anyways, so it's fine.
