  2. I bought both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead from Direct2Drive.com (Like Steam), They are LEGIT and not pirated. My ArmA 2 works fine. I installed the Beta patch for Operation arrowhead and started to play. I could update without any errors. I updated it to 1.52 also. Then I started to play. After awhile of playing I noticed a faded message started to come up in the middle of playing,"Illegal copies ma degrade." (Not may ma) I was like ok what the fuck. Then I goto the main website of ArmA and notice patch 1.54 has been released. I go to install it and it says Bad CD key. I don't know why it is like this I never had this problem in the past? They are LEGIT copies from Direct2Drive.com. I went to D2D support and they had no idea what the problem was. I spent $40.00 US to buy it, and I suddenly have this annoying text?


  3. I have a suggestion and also I bet alot more people think the same. On the

    AK-47/AKM weapons, the metal texture looks plastic/glossy in ArmA 1 it doesn't. I was thinking just using the ak74 texture over it? If you could thats awesome. ALSO the gold and Silver looks way crude in ArmA 2. In operation arrowhead theres the better silver texture and I was thinking you could just use the silver texture off of them and retexture? for the gold well ArmA 2 has this:

  4. I need help in the ArmA 2 Editor. When I put down building stuff like lets say I'm trying to make a small outpost with sandbag walls its hard to tell how well they are put together from a 2d aspect. Then I go in game and the walls aren't even lined up the right direction instead of l its _. Is there anyway i can place the objects in game like in the WARFARE Construction? I don't like the 3d editor I don't get it.. And I don't even know how to use trenches?

    Game settings ArmA 2:

    Visibility:1616

    Interface Resolution: 1024x768x32

    3D Resolution: 1024x768 I get about 19-28 FPS on 1280x960 13 FPS

    Texture Detail: High

    Anisotropic Filtering: Very High

    Antialiasing:Normal

    Terrain Detail: High

    Object Detail: Normal

    Shadow Detail: Very High

    Post Processing: Very High

    Before FRAPS:

    10-16 FPS

    After FRAPS:

    19-38 FPS


  6. Ive found some weapon bugs, AK-47, you can see through the foregrip, and tantal, stock is floating.

    also the ak101 has a way to white gl, looks like its chrome and the ak 101 is black
