    Watergun?

    Had a look. It was a screenshot from the I44 project and (very) wip. In our Cal.68 mod we had also the problem with low range weapons and non-lethal ammunition. One thing is the ballistic, which act strange in very low range. We found finally a range +-100 meter which was ok for us. The stunning can maybe get simulated whith an animation when someone get hit. But i have no idea how to get this behavior only around your watercannon. Another thought: the waterjet must not be the bullet, maybe it´s easier to create a waterfountain in the direction of your barrel everytime it fires. Coming from Stuttgart and with Marseille77´s great Addons i would love to see an water cannon vehicle :)

    I can´t help you directly, sorry. In one of the WWII-Addons was a flamethrower (i think i saw it mounted on a tank, not sure). Will have a look for this and tell you. Thanks for all your great work! I always enjoyed your maps a lot! :m:

  5. I agree with AZY. I bought ToH because i´m a big ArmA fanboy. I never played a flight sim before. As a flying Noob i get great fun from this game. Riding an civil Chopper is very relaxing and a awesome experience. After all the years i played ArmA this civilian style of Gameplay is very refreshing, in the campaign i skipped the most "flashbag" missions couse i got no fun from it. I would love to see more civilian Addons for ToH, may it be helis or ground-stuff. So a nice Firefighter-DLC with 2 Helis, some firemen and the possibility to create fire which can hurt and spray per module. That together with a smaller urban map which is better playable on the ground. (Remember, in A2 you have all this with mods) Guess i will continue play+love Arma for the next 10 years. ToH can be an long runner too, but only when it keeps unique.

  7. Great Idea. Some sling-able stuff would be awesome. I´m also curious for the config. In Arma i had a really hard time with this, ToH makes my brain boiling.
  8. When you haven´t installed BAF + PMC yet, there will be no proplem with 1.59. I guess the patches for the Reinforcements is available standalone without the other stuff. The 1.60 Patch is a beta one, so maybe you wait for a week and get the official one. Have fun! oops, ninja'd :o
  9. hi marty, Arma2 has a 4 player coop campaign, with OA i´m not sure. Have a look at Armaholic. There are tons of coop missions for 2 up to 16+ players. In the mp-part is an "new game" Button, there you can host a session via i-net or lan.
  10. That´s great! Thank you I like the progress of modelling very much, but it´s very hard to create something when you have no clue how to start. Guess there are a lot of people like me which are starting a projekt and get stuck at the half way.
  11. in the mission, press first "strg and -" the minus at the right side over + and the small enter.Sorry don´t know the right name. after that type "endmission". That (guess what) ends the mission. There appears no init line or anything visual when pressing the strg+- so don´t worry.

    how to include OA/Arma2 islands?

    Sorry but i have no Youtube Account, but i´ll upload some pics. One problem with most custom maps is, that there a much less clouds than in BI-Maps, no idea why. Clafghan seems ok with this. Does anyone know a way to disable the old clouds? It´s a bit strange to have the old clouds above the new ones.

    Yes. Just load your A2 and OA Stuff in an Modfolder. I load at first the A2 content, then OA and then Usermade stuff. Works very well. Had a nice fly trough Clafghan today :D

  17. Great map! The Hills are awesome for flying and poor US-Grunts will have a hard time fighting the Talibans. The FOB´s looking great, very detailed with an stunning view. Also the Villages are great with all the fields and little details. The little River in the flat Area (north- at the villages) brought tears in my eyes. The whole Map looks very natural. IMO in Takistan are to many Settlements and Roads. Very hard to find empty places for missions. Your map is in an good Balance. Good luck for your progress and Thanks for all your work!

    How much can u do wrong with 15$? 1. yes 2. no, everything you can imagine. 3. hard but fair. U will get killed a few more times... 4. Waiting a full year? U got 2 full price games for a few bucks, what you wanna more?

    More Money!!!

    In good old Dos6.22 times it was very easy to edit money and other things. Open your Save-game file with an Hex-Editor, Have a look what your Dezimal-money looks as hexadezimal (605341$ are 93C9D in the file). Than change it to fffffff and you will be very lucky. Haven´t tried this way for years, maybe the save games are to big for that.
  21. imo the civil factor brings a lot of opportunities for Missions and Addons. I see this as great addition for the sandbox Armaverse. CheyenneAH56 released his great SC Mod a few days ago for A2. This kind of stuff would be great for ToH.
  22. Reskining is very easy.With DePBO and Eliteness (both can be found here:klick-me) you can unpack the pbo´s. Each of the 3 Heli types has a folder named "skins". In this one are (guess what?) the skins. With your own texture in the mission folder and the Init-line command you can easily paint the birds.What you need: DePbo, Eliteness, BI-Tools (TexView2 for saving the .paa to .tga), Gimp or Photoshop. The configs are a big Riddle to me. I tried to make a little test-heli, but can´t write the config with my ridiculous knowledge. So i´m stuck with the setObjectTexture method.

    try to remap your key bindings with your joystick. U can map 2 or 3 keys (keyboard, mouse and controllers) for every action.

    Spray paint.

    The SLX-Mod has own Splash-Effekts. Mr.Burns and me tryed it for our cal.68-Mod. Sadly we never got the trick, maybe you are more lucky (or talented). Here is an sample for spray as an hit effekt:sample With this you can spray everywhere you want (vehicles not i think). Hope this helps you.
