    Sniper Elite V2

    Thanks to all for your opinions. I know it´s very Arcadish. But i liked Sniper Elite Worlds more than other Arcade FPS. The other "sniper" games like "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" was rubbish as Hell for me. Don´t know why all Studios think a sniper have to shoot always less than 200-300m. In Multiplayer i liked it for the slow Movement. It´s a lot of camping for all. For me other games like CoD are way to fast. Can´t get fun Online. Sometimes i need a few days out of Armaverse. That´s like holidays, you are glad when you are back home :cool:. In Amazon.de the new V2 costs 32€ and the old one from 2006 costs 40€. Mad World. Guess i let this one out. Saving Money for a new Rig may be the better idea.

  7. The units and weapons are aviable in the Editor, but without the scripts they won´t work as in the great DayZ-Mission. On page 1 or 2 was said, perhaps will there be a version for editing later. Maybe with Modules, that would be great. Today i played my first hour. Absolutly amazing! The Zombies are looking great with the new animations! They are a real Pain in the a** when 10 ore more a right behind you. Had some really nice Teamwork with other survivors i met. Very excited to play more :bounce3:

  10. Hi Feint, Great fun to see your fantastic pics and videos! This will be a awesome expansion with an high field of usability. After all the positive feedback here, i thought about reworking the GCS. Coz it´s only a 30 min quickwork, i´m not very happy with it. You know it wasn´t planned from beginning so i didn´t put to much love in it. I thought also to make one Raven with folded wings for the weapon\magazin-Slot. Would be cool along with the "my shoe is open"-medic Animation to unfold. What are your thought´s about this?
  11. Had my first session yesterday and i´m greatly happy with it. Never played RTS, R.U.S.E. and the old warcraft ones was the only one. So i´m a nOOb at that Genre. After some figuring out how things work, the gameplay seems very fluid. After capturing two islands the enemy Carrier attacked my outpost and i moved there. After a hard firefight i was able to destroy it and won the game. Had no crashes yet. Graphic and FPS are very smooth. No stuttering between changing the unit and switching from command view to another. That´s impressive, i have a Phenom II 955-2,8 Gz, an ATI-4870 1Gig, 4 Gig standart RAM with an 32bit version of Win7 so i was a bit worry about FPS :o Some things i find strange: -No NV for Mantas and Walrus? Would be really helpfull. -please add some kind of Zoom for the third person view. -How does the Fuel for the carrier work? I product some Fuel-Cells, but the Carrier don´t use it, but when i order the fuel, and it comes with the boat it´s fine. -the zooming at the command map is a bit strange. You get to fast out of the single island view IMO and it feels not right. In total i´m very happy with it. The fast and straightforward gameplay feels really good. Can´t tell much about details, cuz i played it only for 1-2 h. Will tell more when played more!

  13. Great idea! I had a similar concept long time ago, but never got the scripting part. When it helps i can make you an UAV (MAV or another). PM me if you need some help with models. This kind of stuff would be awesome for Infantry combat. Maybe you should add some Noise for the bird-cam.

  15. Guess this are the pictures from the starting jets when you are ready to attack in the EW Mission. Not real PiP, more like a lot of single pictures one by one. I know it was discused here, but no idea where to find it.

    I guess that´s a proplem, which occurs at converting. Might be also with the Photoshop plug-ins. Convert again with TexView solved the bug for me. Glad i could help.

    Your Gun-model need to get moved a bit. Have a look at an sample model. Take the sample as own LOD and lay your model over it. When you think your model is ok in O2 but ingame it won´t fit, try it without textures. I had the same issue with a gun, the failure was somewhere in the texture converting :computer: Had a really nice time to find the error!

  20. Have to agree, we need some kind of trading system. May it be money, jewels or bird shit. The interest (zinsen in german) starts the trouble. That´s a huge theme and very interesting. Have a look at the history of interest and you will see what i mean. Sadly i have no english-speaking links for you. There are some great documentarys about in germany.
  21. Hi there. I need help with creating particles for an weapon impact for my cal.68 mod. The goal is to create an splash object at impact like this: The effect is NOT needet at players, only with static things (bunker, buildings, trees...) Can be an image overlay or an p3d object, i don´t care which. Trying to get this for 1 year now. I´m the noobiest lamest scripting duck on earth i guess. What i have now is an smoke cloud which appears for 2 seconds. Guess it´s from the vanilla blood setting. This is from my weapon config. It´s not from me (in fact, everytime i touch it, it crashes :o) There are 3 colours because i have different ammunition (balls) and it´s nicer when each team has it´s own colour I have made an splash object in O2, but as said i can´t get it work. So please, if you know a solution let me now--your Karma will increase in the sky. Edit: This what it looks now: [/img]
  22. Did you fly on an A2 or an A2 Addon map? I had the cockpit-disappear-issue with those maps since the game is released.
  23. In Germany they said at TV that they have to check the informations before they have a statement. Sounds reasonable. After all, 5 000 000 emails aren´t read in 10 min. On the other side, there´s a lot of BIG shit in the world you maybe never heard from. The history shows well enough how such things get handled. In the end they all try to sacrifice a pawn.
  24. Same here in germany. First i thought the press need some time to sort things out...nothing till now. Some online news but they say only that the mails get puplic. That makes me mad as hell. Ok, there are only a few mails out (+-150?) but that is enough for some news i think. Fu**ing Oscars get hours and hours. I´ll never understand how most of the people in the western countries can ignore such stuff that much. Try to talk with someone about this stuff, in 90% you get reactions like here in this thread with a lot of "hu, i ever knew that" and "things are so, life with it!". No! I´ll never life with this shit. There is a law in books and there is a law for humanity. The last one get punished more and more from a handful men which never have enough. They will continue till there´s nothing more than scorched earth. What makes me really sad is the ignorance of the milk-cows. When here is a demonstration and i think the reasons are right i go there. The result is the same all the time. Young boys and girls sitting in ice cream shop and laugh about us because "It's pointless." The older one say "what u wan´t? We have a good life." Fighting for an better world is never pointless and for freedom and true democracy we have to fight every single day. So please everybody out there, open your eyes, stay awake and remember other´s there´s more than TV and party.
  25. That´s really easy. Put all your stuff together in ToH and start it as an Addon. Runs like a charm. The problems start when you remove stuff from A2. Also you can run any third party mod which works in arma2. So it´s possible to run ToH with A2 with OA with BAF\PMC with CWR² with (set in your fav. mod here). My ToH folder is +-35 gig large so be aware for your disk-space.
