  2. I'm not sure that putting every context action to dedicated button is a good way. I would like to see the ACE3 action style in the vanilla game: Btw i think it's increase the immersion too. Because i see what can i do and what is more important: where!?!

  5. True, but you need binocular or some kind of optic for zooming. If FOV would be an option in the settings, then i could zoom in and out without any in the game optical item. Do you know what i mean? Eg: When i enter in the building i would increase the fov to see more on sides. When i camping on the hill i would decrease as much as possible to increase the zoom. It's not how the human eye works. :)

    As i remember Jay Crowe said in one video or blog post(i'm not sure where) that the Arma 3 Expansion will be a real expansion and not like the OA was for Arma 2. I don't know what he mean under real, but i expect more than a single island and 2 vehicles.
  7. I think BI don't want that feature. Because every man sees with the same FOV. It would be unrealistic if i could change my fov to 120 and i would see more then others.

    We can see the Crux(in the same orientation and height as it's on the countdown page) from Oct. till March from French Polynesia. From Indonesia basically never. When it's visible is't there is almost a 45deg rotated to right compared to the countdown source. I think it should be between S17° - S26°. Everything below or under not fit in the shape. Btw would be great if somebody can confirm this, because i'm an amateur astronomer. :) Edit: 2015 October - 2016 March is a possible release date range, right? ---------- Post added at 08:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 PM ---------- I think that sharp volcanic mountain in the center can be in the background far from the front rounded ones. And it doesn't necessary will be an island.

    I tried it with Jun 16th. It's daytime at the position where Crux is in the same orientation.

    The star map in arma is accurate! Check this: Altis 21:00 heading North same on Limnos(+2:00 GMT) in stellarium.

    I'm not a physx master, but can somebody explain why we need antiroll artificial force/torque? Can't we just setup the joints, suspensions, wheels, body properties properly and let the engine do the things? Let me join this to the tanks physx. As i know they turn because of artificial side forces. Can't we just have invisible physx wheels which turns on rotation(booth front and back) and spin the wheels instead? Edit: I think it wouldn't be ever a natural behavior if there are artifical forces. If we have to hack to achieve the expected behavior, we should do that without any artifical things. :)
  16. For me not. I can't update the game without re-setting the login informations. When i press update the console appear with this: An after a while i get popup message: Login Failure: Invalid Steam Password, please retry. The only workaround is to go into the Account settings, swap the fields and hit update. I have to do this ever time. When will you released the fix? With 1.46?
  17. Really? Well that's great news! Most of the issues caused by clipping into object because of the rotation axis. It's in the dev? Omg! How could i miss that?! Edit: Well, after a quick test i'm not satisfied at all. :( As it's now, it's even worse than the current stable.

    I agree that the poll options are not perfect, but still better then noting. As i see next time when somebody make a similar poll he should go deeper in the headphone categories to clarify what is the dispersion of the headphones. The chart shows that most of the players(2/3) play with headphones. Edit: Btw it's amazing that only 58 players voted after 10 days.
  20. Are you planning to enchant the character collision behavior in the near future? There is a lot of issue inside the buildings(balcony, door, stairs) which are everyday issues. I can post tickets if you want, but i bet you know what i mean(glitching through the wall/floor(death!), sticking, problematic door handling, crawling on the ruins). :)
