    What do you want to see in the expansion?

    I would like to see some improvements in LOD popping. An optional feature like LOD blending/morphing(http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=22879) would help a lot.

  3. I know nothing about sound configuration, but what i would do is: I would make some real world samples and tweek the game until it's almost identical. :o

    I don't agree with you. The game engine(data processing, draw preparation) is designed to use DX11 with consideration of the API limitation. If they move to DX12 probably they will redesign the flow of the engine, which you can't measure.
  5. Agree, 1.40 RC bug: I played the Combined Arms showcase yesterday. I picked up enemy's zafir and ammunition. When i was out of ammo i searched another auto-rifleman(enemy) and picked up his ammunition. The available magazines was visible on the top right corner. When i tried to reload it it's disappeared one. I tried it again and then disappeared the other. I was out of ammo again. After that i want to pickup another weapon but leave my scope. I take down my scope to my inventory(i was double checked that it's there). Picked up enemy's weapon and the scope wasn't in my inventory. I have the saves and i will try to reproduce it again. Edit: After loading the mission again and firing less ammunition it wasn't happened.

    What if we have sound that is indicating the weapon resting? Some knock(weapon hit the wall or the hand)? Or hand gesture on the weapon? Regrip?

    I really like the weapon resting. It gives me a natural feeling that it isn't require key press. I think that is adding icon for resting is not necessary, because in actions you would not check it. But i don't care if they do one.

    Omg! Omg! Thank you! I think that, if BI wouldn't make the Arma 3 with full DX12 support, they would have a competitor soon.
  10. The new weapon sounds are kicking! When i increase the volume at the level where the real ones are i can feel the punch! Impressive! But now the big booms aren't that painful. E.g.: satchel, tank cannons(the impact and the firing). Imo those are too soft and quite compared to the new weapon sounds.

    I agree. I think the FFV view is limited, because if there are more units in the vehicle, you could accidentally kill them. It would be better if the FFV view would depend on the active turret count. E.g: If you are alone in the back, you can shoot anywhere. If there are 2 unit, then the view is divided by half. Etc.

    Switching seats in a vehicle

    Why not all? It can be same property as the vehicle lock. Mission editors can choose it in the editor/or via script commands. I like the idea that players should always take priority. It would solve lot of: 2what the fu*k is the AI doing" things.
  15. I would rather suggest a script command for break management. Disable the break when the rope is connected and enable it when it is disconnected. I pull my vehicle handbrake every time when i get out of the vehicle. It's automatic as it should be in the game too.

    Fatigue Feedback (dev branch)

    eggbeast: you are also miss the fact, that you are aiming with mouse and it is a game. We need something more than weapon recoil. Inertia and sway are for changing the weapon behavior. If you master it you can be ingame professional. Justbas you have learned how to use real weapons too. The fatigue: I think the whole fatigue thing is for forcing players to fight slower and avoid unreal CS or BF playstyle. That's the reason why we can't jump too. Just take a look some altis life, wasteland or breaking point. They always running everywhere just as Forest Gump did. Most of them don't use covers and don't stop to look around. It is very disappointing. If you are out of breath, you have to stop. Do you know what I mean?

    I haven't followed the entire topic and i haven't played the life because i'm not familiar with it. Is the "problem" is that they allowing you to play only if you pay? They give you a mod pack(content) free, but you can't do anything with that because? The servers that they hosting are not accessible for free? Is that mean that they selling the "mission" and the "use of server" as a service?

    I can give you one. Developers are familiar with the DX because all the iteration of Arma uses it. They know it well. They know whats are the bottlenecks and where can they improve with the new one. And this mean lot!

  22. It's a nice idea. But think it would be better if the BI buy contract and they update the old arma models(what they have) to A3 quality + interior and release it as a one big DLC after the expansion.

    I have been reported it since 2014-10-15 on the tracker.
