    I think you misunderstand me. I mean is the previous behavior affect the current behavior? Eg. current is COMBAT the previous was SAFE. Is the current COMBAT mode different as if the previous behavior were AWARE? Basically are there any difference in COMBAT mode depending on what was the previous behavior? Or the COMBAT mode is COMBAT mode, no matter what. How copy? :D Edit: In reality if you are in the SAFE mode and somebody attack you, you will change to COMBAT mode. But there is some transition(e.g. 30s) between two states. But if you in AWARE(expecting contact) that transition is faster. What i'm trying to say that the behavior change is not instant. I bet in arma the change is instant and the previous behavior mode has no effect on the current one. That's why sometimes strange things happens in the game. Eg. You see enemy at 500m and they are in SAFE mode. If you start shooting at them, they will change to COMBAT mode and they search for you and attack you. This is not what you expect in real world. In real word the enemy find cover first and seek the attacker later.

    Is there any difference in combat mode changes for: SAFE->COMBAT and AWARE->COMBAT? The AI should fear more in case one than in the second one. In the first case the AI last thing should be to engage enemy and find cover first. Is there something in the current state of the game?

  4. It looks amazing but I'm not sure if BI wil do it. If they do, well, then i don't want to be in water when storm coming. Those waves scare a sh*t out of me. :D
  5. Nice feature, i hope it will boost some fps. I'm wondering what happen if the object get damaged? Probably would ignore it, wouldn't it? BI: Will you modify all the objects in the Altis and Stratis or the big/common ones only? What's the plan if i may ask it? :)
  6. Hi! I'm not sure that it happens on the dev-branch too, but since 1.54 my fps drops to 0 when burst(massive) shooting happens. Eg. when two ghost hawk shooting each other with miniguns, or AH-9 attack with minigun and i'm near they. It happens only in MP. I can't reproduce it in the editor with AI. I think it's caused by the tracers, because the game generate lot of tracers. E.g. when the AH-9 shooting there are 20-30 group of tracers multiple times. This mostly occurred when i'm near the source. If I see tracers from distance(eg. 1km) it's not affect the fps. From the log: SuppressCache::Trace called with huge input. Function exited to prevent program stall inside. <COORDINATES> In last 500 miliseconds was lost another 3 these messages. Have anybody noticed this issue?     Issues I would like BI to fix

    What I don't known is that, when they will (if they ever do) fix those minor issues. If these are very deeply rooted issues than fixing should be ASAP, because it will require more and more effort later. I read the dev change log every day and sometimes when i read: Tweaked: Dog and sheep animation configs Fixed: Goat walk / run animation files were swapped or Tweaked: Animation config for snake to provide basic ability to override the snake's default idling and use scripting commands to handle its behaviorI wondering how could these have higher priorities than those which e.g. Vasily.B mentioned.

    Would be possible to simulate some kind of vehicle sinking into the ground for heavy tanks with physx? The tweaked version of the tank physx is much better than before, but sometimes high speed steep ground collisions compress the suspension and the body collide with the ground and it's slows down the vehicle.

    I wonder how the new system will affect the fatigue usage on the servers. My bet is: It will be minimal and those whose disabled the current they will disable the new too.

    The stamina should decrease while running too and you should able to walk only if it's empty. The consumption should depend on the difficulty settings to help newbies. In the difficulty settings: -casual(unlimited running) -normal(small consumption, to avoid unlimited running), -realists(obvious). It's simple and would be fair enough of everyone. BI somehow fear of using and making the game more configurable via game settings. Sure we have scripts, but this should be in the vanilla. I can't accept the fact that we can run forever. Then why do we have walking?! It will become useless whit this new system.
  15. Have you tried to change the ingame shadow distance settings dynamically? It's kind a hack, but better than nothing.
  16. Zafir's bipod continuously turn up and then down when it's deployed. It is stays in the deployed mode, only the animation and sound looping. Can somebody confirm this?

    I hope that mean it will drain stamina if you run(not sprint) up to the hill too. Would be logical to lose stamina(possibility to sprint) after running up to the hill.

    Agree. It should regenerate slowly up to the available maximum. I think the normal running should eat slowly stamina too. Not all, but some(eg. 25% of the available maximum). That would mean that if somebody constantly running everywhere would have less stamina to use for sprinting. However if somebody running up to the hill, he should lose all his stamina slowly. This time the speed of consumption should depend on the climbing rate.

  20. I'm pretty sure, that you will get a cloud if you get hit by .50 sniper at your upper arm, because your arm blow up.

    Exactly! We asked for one, but they said we have enough feedback via breathing sound and pp effects. I bet if we would have UI element like the new system have, the current system would be much obvious for newbies. It's that simple.

    You have some good points. Maybe we should asks for script commands and not crying because of the new system. I like the current system, but if we are able to expand the new system into hardcore/realistic one, than it could be a module in ACE. Problem solved and everybody is happy. P.s. Btw I'm unable to complete the firing ranges to gold. Maybe I'm retard, but i always get tired and if I'm lucky i can finish it with silver. Could anybody finish it with gold?

    Give us numbers, and don't count the wasteland, combie apocalypse, simcity, gta styles please. They won't use the new system either. No matter what. If you can disable it, they will. And that is why BI decided to rework it.

    I don't know what to say. People whose disabled the previous system will disable this too because they don't want any kind of restrictions. That doesn't mean that the current system is wrong. It's because these players don't want to play Arma as a military shooter game. I think degrading the game isn't the way where BI should go with Arma. We love this game because it's different(if you like, more natural) than other games. We asked for stanimabar for the current system and you said NO. Now we will have, but the current system will be removed?! Don't you think that people can't adapt the current system, because they didn't know how the fatigue change? I mean, when I started playing KOTH, it was SuperB to see how the stamina change and I learned how to manage it pretty fast. The new system is....easy. Edit: I vote for the current system + the new HUD for stamina. Edit2: My fiancée advice: Add energy drink into the game and leave the current system. :) Please don't remove it completely. At least make the current system optional and put fatigue setting into the game option just as the flight model. Removing it force us to use mods for better realism and this shrink the available games. Moreover, players whose disabled the current system probably will disable this too. I think there is no good outcome if you remove the current system.
  25. Does this mean, that we can not destroy buildings with tanks or with smaller vehicles at high speed?
