  1. I've got good news. I've begun work on Seal Team Six 5. It will take place on the Isla Duala. Any mission ideas or things you would like to see in the campaign are welcomed. :bounce3:

um yeah i haven't got past the first mission in ST:6/4 yet

    lol

  2. As many have probably mentioned before, these campaigns should have been released with the game or something. Still trying to get the rucksacks to work in-country tho. I remember not being able to ruck gear during the briefing, but I used to be able to load them during missions.

    :(

  3. I did... lowered reinforcement distance to 100m. :) Still aggressive as hell!!! Even lowered advancing for non-surpressed weapons to 400m. Just finished the rescue mission, recruited 2 AAVs onto my side along with a secret help, SKYE, hidden in the hill north of the objective area (wonder why Bardosy hid Skye alone up in that hill in that mission, any purpose? :) )! Even with all that help, enemies were once again raining artillery from god knows where onto us and pouring onto us like tidal waves! In the end, we sacrificed 7 men just to save that 6 men...sigh...

JESUS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL OF YOU PLAY OR REPLAY THIS CAMPAIGN USING GL4!!!! ITS A WHOLE NEW WORLD!!!! Artilleries, Reinforcements, Auto CAS, Everything you never got before, its all activated in this campaign! (yes, even friendly reinforcements! GL4 was clearly designed with big scale combats such as these in mind!)

One advise, always keep your ammo truck close... you WILL need it!

yeah 'incoming' artillery, that isn't scripted and could come at any moment, is what has been missing from the game for a long time. that makes you remember how tough a real battle can be.

  4. Finished!

All I can say is, thank God that the terrorist organizations that we fight in real life are nothing like the NCC... an army of snipers with tanks!

    i dunno...

roadside bombs, blowing up marketplaces full of innocent women and children, hiding in mosques so they can't be fired upon, blending in with the civi population to induce collateral damage..

suddenly snipers and tanks that can be killed with a good ole f-15 don't seem that bad

  5. This really opened my eyes how difficult is it to make a good campaign. There's so many factors here. You are suddenly out of ideas, you feel bored, your wife get's on your face(can't really blame her) ;)

When you're making one mission you can put a lot of though in that one mission, but when you're making campaign you should have lot's of ideas and most importantly you need to know how to make them work in editor.

This isn't exactly same quality as Bardosy's wonderful campaign or Sick1 but i hope someone will spend even one night with this. :)

Bleh. Now i'm going to have some break from this... Week maybe. :)

    in your face

'on your face' implies something sexual :D

    thanks for another camp

    best community in the business

    :yay:

  6. got nothing to do with the missions, if you had checked the thread you would have noticed that on more than 3 times people say you have to disable ace

    pretty much...

coming across saying the missions are 'broken as hell,' is a bit rude, especially when it's a problem on your end.

these guys are making free campaigns..stuff that other companies charge for called 'downloadable content'

    remember that

    :)

  7. I tried making one but never realised that is so darn hard to even make 1 mission!!!! RESPECT TO ALL MISSION AND MOD MAKERS!

i like playing other people's missions, because they're full of surprise. You don't know what's going to happen next, because you didn't have a hand in the mission creation process. Only time I make a mission is when I just need a firefight fix.

    :yay:

  8. Definitely chesty puller, i'd go as far as saying it should have shipped with the game rather than razor 2 if bardosy had been able to voice all the dialogue! its the best (and just about only!)infantry based campaign out there so far. The newest update of it with the english briefings & dialogue cleaned up is great!

    lol

it is a pretty solid campaign tho, especially if you're more interested in infantry-based ops. There is no worrying about having to fly a chopper or driving tanks, in order to complete a mission. We need more campaigns like this.

    :)

  9. Sick, is there some kind of experience point system in force in this campaign? I realised that my men gains rank over time and those who has died before and resurrected come back as privates. I lost Wardog and Reaver in Operation blowdown and they came back as privates in Operation Eagle Recover.

one of the best points of classical rainbow six and ghost recon....

Would be nice if an experience/skill system was in place, to make us more attached to the men

  10. AMD ATHOLON 62 dual core 2.10 ghz with a 260gtx. The reason I started making campaigns is because I loved ARMA 2 but I couldn't play vanilla campaign.:D

these missions gave me a reason to jack my settings to high...

never realized how beautiful Arma could be

  11. hehhe, thanks for the reply. :) Strange, I was using ACE healing perfectly with these units until the ACE key loss bug hits. So I have no access to any ACE keys currently. I don't think its specifically healing related nor BB units related... at least from my tests so far. Its more to do with the ACE key loss bug.

I would prefer just these 4 guys... been with them through too much to break up or add on to the squad hehehehe

have to admit, the small unit missions offer up a nice change. So much of the game is based upon large formations and fights, whether in single or multi. Small groups are easier to manage and the gunfights seem more visceral. A SF A-Team at full, would be a 12-man deal.

  12. @Steve, yes, that's the default player profile. Are you playing using that player profile? Could you be more specific on the exact things you are seeing leading to the error please?

@Sick, Oh? So we playing brits next? Whats ODA 574? Seriously, what kind of conflicts exist with the present BB seals? I don't think I experienced anything related to the BB seals, care to share?

...i was going to explain 574, but sick beat me to it.

    :P

Do have one question tho, as a very late edit - will we be getting beefed up squads, to represent a full 'A-Team,' or will we be looking at the 4-5 man ST:6 structure?

  13. what are the chances, of us getting to play as the mohawk seal from 'Tears of the Sun,' in a later version

    ;)

I see you have a guy who reminds me of 'Ghost' from Modern Warfare 2, in campaign 3.

Either the mohawk guy or a Captain Price look alike, version 4
