I'm looking for a new community/clan to play Arma with. I'd like one that has dedicated gaming nights where an Operation is played, for convience Im just gonna put what I want, like, and what I can offer on a list here :D -What I really want of a community: -Use of ACE Mod -Around at least 15 Active Members -Centered around my timezone, so Germany. One hour plus/minus is fine, but over that I find it hard to attend anything -Maturity -Realism What adds bonus points : -Use of ACRE -More then 15 Members I can offer a few things to a community, I know my way around ACE and Arma pretty good, been playing for about 5 years, starting with Arma 1 Back in the day. I like vehicles of all kinds a lot , put me as infantry and Ill be happy, though put me in a vehicle and I'm happier. I think I'm a pretty decent Pilot, and I really like flying. For Infantry, I've been a Designated Marksman in former communities. I realize Pilot/DM might sound very cliché but as I said, Im fine with just about everything. Of Course I dont expect to get my most-liked-roles instantly, or ever, but It's a bonus if theres a chance of getting it. I'm currently 16 Years old, and from Germany as noted above. I know some tactics from previous communinities, so I guess I'll adapt to that quickly. I'm totally cool with training etc. and I'm ready to dedicate time to it all. Looking forward to a response, if I do find something I'll edit this post.

Hello guys,I just recently got Arma 2 and I have a strange graphic Problem,it looks like this: Picture 1 Picture 2 Its strange grey rectangles all over the world,it doesnt matter if I´m in the air or not it happens from time to time,but only when I look in a certain direction. It´s temporary fixable by just changing any Graphic Option at all, but it will appear again I´ve been getting this bug quite a few times now. My System and other things: 2x3ghz Intel (If you need the specific type I´ll find out) 2gb Ram HD 3850 with 512mb Arma2 Version 1.04 Newest Driver for the Graphic Card,no other Graphic Card drivers installed. I know there is a patch 1.05 for Arma 2 but I want to play on a 1.04 Server online so It´d be good if I could stay with this one. If you need anything else just tell me and I´ll give you the info,I hope you can help me. The Bug is not bad in SP as I can just pause the game and fix it but I believe it could be quite annoying in MP. Thanks in Advance !

Well thanks to everyone for the help so far,I will try a few things myself then.

Alt-Tab fixes it,and so does every Video setting except Resolution. Btw,Im playin on Recrut so even looking on the map seems to fix it,everytime I it does a bit of loading it seems to fix the issue.

It could be but I actually doubt it,the cooler for my Graphic Card is pretty good and it never did anything like that (or any other graphic bug) in other Games. Not even in Crysis,where it had a lot to do.

Sorry for the Doublepost but I have another problem now,it seems kinda similar to my first one, just not as bad. It looks like this. Still fixable by changing one of the Graphic Options. It´s not as game interrupting as the first one but I´d still like to get rid of it.

I will try this and see if it works. EDIT: That seemed to fix it,lol. I didnt think it´d be that easy but as long as it works its fine for me
