What are you talking about? Bullet physics at least use directcompute and opencl, which means that they run on the gpu.

Those are just assets, the game has a long way to go itll release.

Now, I don't want to start a flame war, but I would use some other word than silly in there. I haven't said anything about anyone using Nvidia, it's the stuff that run only on a certain piece of equipment I don't like.

Me too, I still haven't bought any game that uses any kind of proprietary middleware, as I'm extremely opposed to that kind of selling techniques.

It wouldn't be the first time a company would make an arrangement like that, see the whole "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" thing, and Arkham Assylum and Mafia 2 using the Physx crap. The problem of course is that Physx was just a gimmick in those games, a small visual enhancement, where as what BIS seems to want to do with physics is integral to the game. Of course, I trust BiS not screwing us ATI users, for now, and I'm hoping they're going the OpenCL way, with Bullet physics, which can be intergrated with Digital Molecular Matter, Havok and/or any other middleware that can be accelerated by any directcompute/opencl capable gpu, which both ATI and Nvidia have.

If bis had partnered with Nvidia and used in the engine the proprietary crap that is called physx, me and I assure you many more people would have a problem, a big one.

Nope, no problem like that at all, it's an installation problem, I'm getting it too, and I'm not sure how it can be fixed. Btw, I can't use the SIX updater, I'm getting a SIX updater error, "/six-Updater/six-updater.yml config missing!".
