    @Naserve, I've never played coop, so I have a few questions. How do you play a coop mission? Has anybody tried to play the campaign coop yet? Were there any bugs encountered while playing the campaign coop? I'll try to get a coop version out when I know I fixed any problems.

    Well whenever you hit an autosave it seems to set everyone other than the host into the hosts perspective. If a person connects mid mission it seems to fire some triggers like the bombs to clear the trees on mission 1.

    As for how do you play it coop when you go to campaigns you hit host instead of play.

    The FDF mod campaign had it set up so all triggers fired off of the group leaders character and it seemed to work pretty well.


  2. Hey guys, I'm currently working on a update that will add some new features. I will also look into the problems you are having. Please tak in mind that the betas are not a goo option to run with my campaign, they may contain bugs not linked to it. I'll try to release a new version tonight.

    Will that update be adding in the coop compatibility? Myself and a few friends are waiting for that before we have a go at the campaign.


  3. Hey guys, I will be releasing what should be a final patch either early this morning or afternoon. The patch will fix a bunch of things I noticed on my second play. Please understand that the current version does not contain any game breaking bugs, so please keep playing;) Also the Ace version will be released with the update.

    p.s. using WARFX makes this campaign pretty damn awesome. The jdams look amazing.

    Will the ACE release feature Coop or will that be coming at a later time?


  4. Wait a second. OA had campaign? I thought it was just a short demo version of a SP part?

    And 5 new factions? You mean UN, Czech, Germany with 2 different types of units per "faction" plus takistani militia/rebels which are just reskins of each other? That's some solid amount of content right there.

    Well lets see OA has a campaign and some SP scenarios and the DLC has a campaign and some scenarios.

    OA has the US Army, the Takistani Army, the Takistani Militia, the Rebels, the UN, the Germans, the Czech, and now the Brits.

    For 50 dollars you end up getting content on par with what Arma 2 had to offer. I don't see a problem here.

    You're right I did. I have a question for ya Dwarden. Obviously you can't divulge to much, but do you guys plan on releasing these frequently or will there be a significant gap between the Brits and the next DLC?

    Edit: Also would it be possible to elaborate on these engineer extensions? Will they affect base OA engineers?


  6. ah, that's a shame. :/ I don't use ACE myself, so I probably won't make them compatible, if someone else would like to do it I wouldn't mind though! But they shouldn't do it right now, I'm working hard on a new version that'll feature some more variety in clothing, aswell as a couple of new units, and possibly even more civilian-looking units aswell. (possibly using the independent guerilla-models or civilian models, haven't started checking that yet)

    I don't know if I was doing it wrong the first time or if its because of the new update but the ACE keys seem to be functioning! I'm really liking the look of the local operators and the beards!


  7. Dumb, yes. Especially because that shouldn't be a problem if the infantry is set correctly. Grpf...well maybe you can think it is realistic. If I were a normal GI Joe I think I would keep my hands away from mortars. They can be deadly if you are not taught to use them.

    If you are carrying the mortar, select it, then face where you want to set it. Then just click, wait few secs an voila.

    Well what I am suggesting is that they add a mortar soldier to each variant of uniform. If they would like to make it so only the mortar soldier can deploy it thats fine so long as I get my 101st Airborne Mortar Soldier.
