Hello all, I want to re-download my game (Arma2) with the new patch (1.05) and with ACE2 and all the fixings, what is the best way to do this, should I download the game, then patch, then Ace2 six-updater or should it be Arma2 then Ace2 six updater and after it is done instal the patch?

Is there files somewere I dont know about that need to be deleted as well besides what is deleted by going in to my control panel and "add remove file" section? .

When installing through the updater do I still use password and all as "admin" like I did a while ago when I downloaded the ace2.

It does seem to happen on other maps now, not sure what is the problem though. On addon maps I should say not on the maps that come with Arma2.

getting serious crash to desktops whenever trying to preview something on any map, this is crazy and has now happened after the new patch, any ideas.

not sure exactly what all that means or how to give it to you, but, I use 1280x1090 for my resolution and all items are under "normal" setting accept "high" for terrain detail. Not sure what you mean by "material configuration" sorry, hope this helps. I have tried placing the pbo's directly in my addon folder and also using a mod folder as well and nothing works. I also tried updating it from the six-updater and still a CTD each time.

I get a crash to desktop every time I try to preview anything on this map, any ideas why? please anyone know why, it's the only map that does this and I can't figure out why, I place objects and me on the map and go to preview and bam crash to desktop everytime.

all i have is c:\Users\Administrator....and then nothing inside there at all? any ideas, I use steam version of Arma2.

After updating this map "Quesh-kibrul" from the updater I get a crash to desktop everytime I try to Preview the map? any ideas why, thanks.

I want to get back my crosshairs while still playing on expert level in singleplayer and it says the same thing for the crosshairs, were do I do this because in my ace_clientside_config it does not have the "//" IN FRONT of the #define?????

do I change it in my @ACE folder in the userconfig folder or what, thanks all.

Sickboy I decided to install Arma2 all over again (clean install) and I will be using the Updater like before to install ACE2 and all the necessary items (CBA, ace, acex,beta).

I then want to use Alpinestars addon installer which I have downloaded the latest one, which mod folders do I need to check in the mod section to play ACE2: ex.ACE, ACEX,BETA,CBA? Is this correct or do I need to check ACEX.RSYNC, ACE.RSYNC, ETC, ETC.

Tnx. Configure alpine to use beta\arma2.exe or disable the official arma2 beta mod.

I did and still no go, I deleted the beta folder all together.

Sickboy I have a shortcut exe for ACE2 i got from the six updater, there is a place on there were it says you can make a desktop shortcut for ace2 which i did, this is were I go to use Ace 2, but, I cannot use my alpinestar addon starter anymore to use any mods with ACE2 because I get that message.

Iam trying to start ACE2 with my Alpinestars Arma launcher and I get this message everytime, any ideas:
