    Aww man, tell me about it.. just to follow up your experiences I have to add what to me has so for been my piece of visual nirvana.

    I was playing on a MP server. There I was sitting on the outskirts of some village (the name escapes me I'm afraid) I had my own little group made up of 2M1's, I had a repair truck and 2 MRLS vehicles strategically placed to my rear in cover.

    There were also 6 or 7 other player units surrounding the place, called for artillery strike from the Commander who obliged with 4MRLS, well that combined with my 2.. crikey !!! the whole place lit up like a giant fireworks party.

    Honestly I've never seen so many enemy units ablaze in one place after one arty strike, a true visual feast and just one of them times when everything just falls into place at the right moment to which just lifts this game above anything else in my opinion and makes me totally forget about all the little quirks it suffers from... Hell Yeah!

    Well, what can I say... Buying this game has been my first encounter with this company (and will not be my last).

    I'm sure I echo everyone else's thoughts in saying that I am truly blown away by the support they give their customer base, and much the richer we are for it.

    No other developer comes close, and why not? I ask myself....

    Hi, I'm new to this forum and have only been playing Arma2 online for a few weeks now.

    I have a question to pose regarding losing connection to a server, reconnecting and then having to play as opposing team.

    This happened to me today. After losing connection on a full server due to a CTD (we all know about that don't we :mad:) I had to wait for a slot to become available... I rejoined but had to play on the different side.

    Then came all the shouts for me to be kicked because I was a "Team Swapper"

    Now I am a mature gamer and consider myself a team player, I have no wish to cheat, play dirty or gain an advantage by unfair means of any kind.

    It was suggested that I would start attacking the base but I have a bad memory and couldn't even remember where it was anyway.

    So, what do you do sit around waiting for a place to open on the side that you initially played on or use the only 1 such free slot available?

    :o Oh no.... And to think I had just installed the latest beta patch (first time I've ever done this by the way)

    When I tried the Multiplayer, no servers in the list so I starts scratching my head before coming to the conclusion that it was a problem caused by the patch.

    I do nothing more than a clean install of Arma 2 and patch to 1.04.. you know how long thay takes!! And then I see this post in the forum. :banghead:
