  1. I installed a new launcher for CO and tried to get my addons from ARMA 2 to work in CO and they just refuse to work.

    I'm using 1.2 apparently

    image > 100kb removed

    Where I highlighted, the manual said there should be a "Load Addons"

    This is a screenshot of the manual picture which obviously says 1.0. So any tips guys? Or maybe its just all the addons are broken with CO atm?

  2. Let's say you spawn 2 Infected. Are you also placing the Infected Module in the mission? Just wondering.

    In other news, I hope this gets updated with OA released, I don't have it yet unfortunely but the random town generator looks awesome, I could quickly make a city with several of those.


  3. Sound's to me you installed it incorrectly, I remember when I first got the mod on release I had this issue and it was because I installed it wrong. Personally, I would dig through this thread and find the most up to date files since I don't think Armaholic has everything right.


  4. Here's a simple artillery run through.

    Spawn a MRLS which should be listed underneath USMC -> Armored

    Create an Artillery Module

    Double click on that module and name it my_battery

    Create a trigger and in the ON ACT box copy-paste this code in

    [my_battery, (getPosASL target_vehicle), ["IMMEDIATE", "HE", 0, 15]] call BIS_ARTY_F_ExecuteTemplateMission;

    Make sure you choose your form of activation, I like to just do a radio command, so Radio Alpha in this case.

    Finally, go to your Units spawn box (F1) go to Side, then scroll down to Empty, go to Targets then pick Armored Target. Once it's spawned, name it target_vehicle.

    To conclude, make sure your MRLS is pretty far away because apparently it has an "minimum range" so for example set this up in Chenarus, put your MRLS at the north-western airport, put the armored tank in Chernagorsk, spawn yourself a unit in the city, and call it in.

    Tell me if it works, if push comes to shove I can upload the mission for you.


  5. Thanks for the fix, Yort, it works perfectly! This is a great mod that I love, and would go great for a mission I've been trying to do but I can't figure out how to make Allies switch to be Enemies and attack each other while the mission is taking place.

    In the future for any upcoming releases, will you be considering doing SCUDs?


  6. I disabled AA, and put PP at a LOW setting. Then increased that 3d resolution to 125% and it still maintained a 15 FPS. Hahaha wow.

    Afterwards, I kept same settings but cranked 3d resolution to 133% and what do you know it was 15 FPS again.

    This was all done on the #2 benchmark test since im more or less used to missions like that. The #1 benchmark test I got around 30 but there isn't much action going on


  7. That's weird my settings changed, anyways with no MODS whatsoever my fps was still 15-25. I use STEAM and checked my shortcut commands and i had "-winxp" i think thats from a time when i kept having a graphic issue.

    Also i don't use scripts in my missions, im not smart enough to know how to!

    Shadows - High

    What is Fillrate? I didn't see anything about that in settings

    I7 920 Quad core

    6GB Ram

    WIN7 64 Bit OS

    To be fair, I don't have simple 5v5 squad battles, the AI in my missions usually goes up to about 50-70 with some waypoints and triggers that about it. I did the benchmark tests and it said I was at 15 FPS. If I can play Crysis maxed out, why cant I play ARMA 2 on med/low settings with fair fps? :(

    I was wondering if anyone could take the time or was planning to make a standard Ambulance? I'm trying to make my undead missions seem more "at home" with more American/Western objects rather than the Eastern European third world country stuff we have at the moment with Chenarus.

    My wishlist would be a huge metropolis that is like 10-15 Chernagorsks put together! I think ARMA 1 or OFP had a giant city map. I know that more american building models are being made so hopefully it will come to pass.

    EDIT: Found that city. It's called Starlight City and im sure most of the old timers have played it.

  10. I'm hoping that with the new models being worked on that relate to Cities, (one pack with skyscrapers has already been released) that more mappers start taking the oppurtunity to create a huge sprawling Metropolis, among the likes of New York City or Chicago.

    I would really, get into A2 mapping and try to do it myself rather than wait but I'm currently mapping for the Source Engine (Valve games) and having to learn a whole new system will just wreck me.
