No, I'm running it by a trigger (putting it on the on act box)
Basically im trying to spawn a group of 20-30 Infected at one spot. Anyway to simply do that without making a script?

I tried multiple ways..
[_0,_35] call CHN_UNDEAD_fn_CRTZEDGRP
which gives me the error "local variable in global space"
then i tried [0,0,_35] call CHN_UNDEAD_fn_CRTZEDGRP
still failed.
So if you could give me a example that would be awesome and also yes, enjoy your food (:

I've figured out the commands to actually be able to do the SWITCH however while they will regard each other as enemies and take a "combat stance" they won't fire at each other at all.
Any ideas?

Huge metropolis city map. I don't care if the AI fails horribly in urban combat (I will use it for zombie apocalypse scenarios though it will fail as well)
I just want a huge city map.

Goes hand in hand with the zombie addon for more realistic scenarios. What would be really cool, but I'm not sure if you can do it, is to make Police cars along with a SWAT van. :)

Thank's for your feedback, the additional command will help. Well, they are certainly taking hostile stances towards each other, but they won't fire at each other for some reason, any solutions?

Any information on how that Urban Model pack is coming along? It will surely help mappers with constructing more diverse cities.

1) Make a unit and set it to 'Player'
2) Open up Spawn menu, go to Side, scroll down to Empty
3) Look for Wrecks tab
4) ???
5) Profit!

Hi guys, I apologize if this has been asked before, I searched on Google and on the fourms but didn't see anything that actually worked.
My set up for this mission will be BLUFOR and INDEPEDENT are allied toward each other at the start of the game until a BLUFOR ship is destroyed by OPFOR, but is blamed on Independents causing a war.
It's at that point where I want to switch the two sides from Allies to Enemies. I thought this command,
WEST setFriend [RESISTANCE, 0];would help, it made them enemies, but they wouldn't attack each other or anything.

I think it would be cool if other guys stepped up to the plate and began making a variety of monster NPC's like Werewolves, the creatures from STALKER, there was a Hell Knight model too, that huge creature from DOOM 3
I tried to get the blood sucker working since that CDR got released but it won't move for some reason.

1. If there's A LOT of units, scripts, etc on the map all at once it will cause this addon to lag horribly as you said, they fall off the rope. Are they very choppy on getting to the ground? But anyways, a lot of lag will delay their rappeling and the ropes will cut off too quick for them to reach the ground.
2. Tried ajusting the flyinheight or amount of time you want until ropes snap?

You should of downloaded the arma launcher and made a seperate folder for it, I hear that dropping things into the Addons folder will cause issues in the future.
Funnily enough I managed to fix my own problem as well, after the helicopter completes its rappel point, I placed a small move point like right on top of THAT waypoint, and synced a radio-call trigger to it then another move point back to base.
So that once all units touch down, I just put the radio call in and signals the helicopters to fly back to base. Woo! Unfortunely this script dosen't work well with the Undead mod

Yeah the rappeling issue makes me sad :( I wish I could send clean up teams into the city that way, but alas it is not possible

Well the zombies work yes. However when they kill a 'Sahrani Civilian' it dosen't change to it's respectful skin, it changes to a default Chernarus/Russian civilian skin. That's my beef with it. Any fix to that? Also if you could make pre-set groups and put those in their respectful tabs that would be tight.

Had a quick test, they should work but I may have missed some config error which shouldn't be hard to fix.
I'll download once all errors are stamped out. Much appreciated. :)

Seems a bit complicated for just a simple mission :X to be honest, I just use the editor to make battles for myself, and thats about it lol
