Best of all it uses ACE and Alive which are also very good mods. I shall be checking this page out a lot now waiting so if the BIS forum server crashes assume its me and my F5 key :P

Gutted went to play this with my bro and a few mates. We spent ages to find a mission like this and not all missions works ETC. If the OP ever does come back and has a chance to update this awesome mission I shall be for ever greatfull :)

Yep same problem TBH I have a better PC than you as ya know and FPS is 20 most of the time.

Was testing this with my bro the other day. We had ACE running and all seems to work well. But I took a mission and went to area. I took one shot at a person (Ai) and within 5 seconds was bombed with artilery right on top of me this aint right I mean they locked onto me within seconds and killed me? :(

Well I have been away for yet another 6 or so months and nothing has changed the game still runs like shit. I have a decent PC so please dont say its that. I have been a fan of BIS games since OFP and yes I was a fanboy but tbh arma 3 just runs like crap. Arma 2 had same issue and we was told by BIS they could not fix it due to engine limitations and then they bring out arma3 on same bloody engine but strapped more stuff onto it. BIS FFS please sort out this game its unplayable.

Hi I am not sure if its an ACE thing but UAV`s do not seem to work. I place a UAV on the floor and walk up to it all I get is pack UAV I have a UAV command thing and even a UAV battery but never get a chance to link it even using interact and self interact there is nothing :(

But at the same time there not really making it good on them self they openly admited to not being able to fix the poor utilization of arma2 due to limitations of the engine now they do the same thing in arma 3 :(. But worse of all they completly ignore this thread or deliver empty promises etc they cant and wont fix this. Lets just hope arma 4 :P aint on same crippled engine.

LOL I dont think its "might" get lower FPS I think it will just get lower and lower. They aint doing nothing to increase perfomance just like ARMA2 they said they could not fix it due to engine limitations and now they bring out arma 3 on same bloody engine practicaly but with same limitations LOL. Where was this optimization blog we was promised I realy think we should create a partition its the most voted issue on tracker and on this forum and still nothing not one bloody word on what they are doing :(

Well years have past and still I see no performance increase :( I am running a dedi server and the server never drops below 45fps . I was doing a mission and I was hiding in a building if I looked away from the town I was getting a solid 40fps If I looked in the centre of town my FPS would drop to 20fps the funny thing here is I was not looking through any windows so realy the game should not be rendering out side of the house so I assume there is no occlusion culling going on in arma3 :( Please BIS give us some optimization please :(

NM I figured it out I had range card,kestral etc etc all in the back pack. You cant access it from there as soon as I put them in my normal clothes it worked :P

Hey all I have CBA and ACE but I cant seem to bind keys for things like kestral. I mean I bind them and when I press the keys in game it does not do what I assisned it to do :( Please help

Hi all I need som ehelp please :(. I have used steamCMD to get dedi server files. and now I use TADST v2.6 to help create and start server. I point TADST to the dedi server exe and press launch. I see that when I do this on my actual steam friends list it says I am playing arma 3 so when I press to start arma 3 it says I bloody cant becuase its all ready running WTF please help me please :(

I suggest we just give up TBH. They wont fix it its all bullshit ive lost respect for BIS I would truly love for them to prove me wrong but I know it wont happen trust me this is ARMA 2 all over again. There even charging for stuff we had free in ARMA 2 thanks to ACE 2 I mean this shows there just following all the other crap game devs. I have deleted ARMA 3 install from my pc as there is no point I just keep being dissapointed every time I check the dev build,.

This is my first post in many months why because BIS don't give a shit. I was the biggest OFP fan then arma fan out there and BIS to me was the best game dev ever. We had this same issue with arma2 and was told IT CAN'T BE FIXED Due to engine limitations. I gave BIS the benefit of the doubt and thought OK well arma 3 is bound to have a better engine with out such limitations oh how wrong I was. Arma 3 is arma 2 but with more shit strapped on to it that bogs the all ready struggling and ageing engine down even more. I have totally gave up on BIS and ARMA now there is no point they wont fix it and I bet you they can't due to same limitations as arma 2. BIS I really am gutted that you just chucked arma 3 out the door to make money that's what it seems like to me and now your charging for things like snipers weapons when these things where free in arma 2 thanks to the great ACE team. You have took the wrong path BIS I thought you where different to other game devs but money and the fame of dayZ has got to your head. ARMA£ ;) is nothing more than a cash cow for dayz funding I feel and BIS have forgot there roots and the hundreds of fans that made them famous. I have every arma,arma2,OFP addon ever made to show my respect to BIS but arma 3 is sat there in my steam library doing nothing because it runs LIKE SHIT. yes I possibly will get banned for this :( but its the truth I am gutted I am passionate for the arma series and I have been let down they have zero intention of being honest and fixing this game. You build a house on unusable foundations it will sooner or later collapse. So keep fixing things like Fix texture error Correct fonts Remove this add that Charge for DLC and rape more money off people but you will end up like other game devs sooner or later people will not continue to support your shit for ever I for one have lost respect for you BIS this is terrible and disgusting. Ohhh look I can now shoot from vehicles....oh Wait no I can't im running at 20fps and can't aim for shit its like a slide show.

Hey all I am really not happy with how arma3 is at the moment :( Apart from the cruddy performance I am trying to set up a dedicated server. I have installed VIA STEAM.CMD to a folder suggested in the tutorial. I start the server whice in turn all so shows on steam that I am playing arma 3? But I a not so when I click arma 3 to play it from the same machine as I am running the dedicated server it says the game is all ready being played. Please advise STEAM really has ruined arma for me tbh as I stupidly tied arma 2 to steam and now get the same stupid problem :(
